greeneyedsoul Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Mariah above Dua. Close this thread until January.
greeneyedsoul Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 It's doing great in Belgium and Netherlands tho. Aren't these two first to jump on future classics?
KatyPrismSpirit Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Yeah USA can be written off at this point. Early USA promo was probz needed to give this legs. :/

NostalgiawithDua Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 She really need to perform, don’t think label will announce the album, till she gets a stable hit. She’s not the kind of girl who gets everything easily, all that YT shorts promotion for nothing….
Bloodflowers. Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Smash in Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden SHE IS COMING
katara Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 This obvi a hit but it will get rag dolled by Xmas songs and new songs until end of December. 1

Listening to it is like sleeping with a hot guy, but you never get off. so accurate you still play it and you still remember sometimes, but there’s no pleasure

seanbworth Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Nobody is talking about Dance The Night, it had a pretty impressive Spotify update, increasing on US Spotify. It’s extremely stable now on the weekend updates too which we struggled with for MONTHS , haha! Coming to the conclusion that the American GP still recognizes Dance The Night as Dua’s huge comeback. Houdini will probably get that attention in 2024, I’m sure! 3

CosTaSsSs Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 She's usually a slow burner. Her songs take some time to build so I wouldn't really stress yet. However, I can understand that people were tricked with the teasers and expected a more explosive chorus as previewed. I am not stressing for this, even if it doesn't click the next single could probably do the job.
B-Luke Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 No point in following this chart performance for the next 6 weeks honestly. Let‘s just wait for Dec 27 to arrive 1
Cottonmouth Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 After letting it sit with me, I think it's just the post-chorus I don't like. It feels shoe-horned in. I don't think it compliments the song at all. The hook is great as is the music video. Although I don't see this smashing or being a slow burner. I see this as her Lights Up, with her Adore You and Watermelon Sugar coming straight after. It does what it needs to do in starting the era. 4
