How can she possibly lose USA streams on a Monday update? Is American taste really THAT bad or do they actually hate her sm? I’m sorry y’all, it’s the streaming era and it shouldn’t take months of radio play for room temperature-IQ Americans to catch on to the constant bops dua has to offer. It’s so annoying because if the USA supported her, #1 on Spotify Global would’ve been hers, FN would’ve had 2 #1 singles, BMH would’ve been a top 10 hit, and the list goes on. You mean to tell me she dropped one of the biggest pop albums arguable of the entire century and Americans are still not moving when she breathes??? They don’t deserve her at all.

It's not that serious

I just know she's cooking something good for the Grammy next year

Not surprising the updates in the U.S., she's always been a hit or miss in the States, not a consistent hit maker there.

She’s a consistent hit maker, just not the kind that peaks instantly.

I’m genuinely shocked at her US numbers. Below 700k? Wow

The meltdowns over US after only third (3rd!!) day :rip:

She is coming to smash! Queen of Eurodance and Disco is coming to smash in the US sooner rather than later

her US numbers are bad dude, real bad. There’s no way around it.

if I remember correctly, DSN was receiving 900k+ streams at this time in the US, just for comparison.

As much as I love Dua, these streams are bad. She was doing better with DSN, which is before she became a true star.

I know she has never been about big debuts, but you’d expect one of the biggest pop stars of the decade to debut quite high.

Tbh, it’s going to be hard to replicate, or even have half of the success as FN. Let’s hope that this is just the Physical of the album.

i fear the US saw DTN as her musical comeback since the last time she was in the GP’s consciousness like that was levitating. which was 2 years ago.  :hoetenks:

but does it even matter when you look at the state of the hot 100 top 10 lol im glad the rest of the world loves fun music

Don’t really care about hot 100 peak, as long as it becomes a WW smash like One Kiss/New Rules with 1-2B streams!

US Spotify - Day 4 / First Monday

#7 Don't Start Now - 930,709

#16 Break My Heart 700,763

#23 Houdini - 676,918

#33 Physical - 498,111

#63 Dance The Night - 421,567

#29 We're Good - 402,278

#146 Cold Heart - 218,911 :eli:

So this is doing similar to BMH here in the US, so far.

Rihanna got her first #1 album.in the US with her 7th (!!!) album Unapologetic.

Do you think she was not one of the biggest popstars of her decades after Umbrella, Only Girl, We Found Love, etc?

Yall.sound super idiotic with your takes and gloom

Also, the US is living in peak Taylor Mania. Thank GOD this is not the case everywhere!

I do need some of y’all to realize that not everything is going to be as big as one of the biggest hits of the decade aka DSN :deadbanana:  Just because it’s not performing as well positions wise, doesn’t mean that it can’t be a nice lil hit

Yeah maybe we're going a bit too far, sure this is a "lead single", but the significance of this term stays within the fanbase and pop culture enthusiasts. For the GP this isn't even a comeback, she literally has other solo hit on the charts right now :deadbanana2:

These fools have been doubting Rih EVERY step of her career.

I stan her and each and every lead single of hers was trashed by ATRL coz it didn't take off immediately.

Well this is doing more than decent in Europe at least

Same thing with Dua's fave P!nk who got her first #1 hit on her fifth (5th!!) album and her first #1 album was her sixth (6th) studio album, yet nobody said P!nk was a faceless, no fanbase driven radio artist who wasn't a MPG before that with her countless Top 10 hits:rip:

Let's face it, nowadays every smash hit goes viral first on TikTok

Rihanna after 6 years: 10 #1 singles

Dua after 6 years: 0 #1 singles

:rip: These two are not comparable at all
