Levitating chart run is very weird in the UK. It was a hit on October 2020 and then again in May+June 2021

A lof of you make the assumption that this will start smashing in Feb or March just because Dua songs take some time til they peak. But what if the song doesn't have legs?

I just want to add to the discussion that we fans and casuals, gays crazy about pop culture, knows that this is her lead single and it’s getting the lead single push. I wonder if the GP is seeing or will see as a lead, since Dance the Night was a huge summer smash. This coming so soon afterwards makes me think that for them it’s more of a follow up and not the proper start of a new era, so DTN lowkey ate a bit of the comeback hype and the wow moment after she was absent for so long…

 

Just food for thought. I still think it’s too soon for big takes and there’s a whole era to happen yet

Hopefully it'll increase the gap throughout the week and at least debuts at #2 but a #3 debut is still great

 

 

I think a lot of people are forgetting that a song doesn't have to go #1 to be a hit, if it debuts and stays in the top 10 then I wouldn't stress about it
