Now outstreaming guts on spotify* for a single day. That’s 24 hours. Combined with all streaming services, GUTS is outstreaming Scarlet anyways so :toofunny3:

Guts is a complete non-event and it’s fine watching people twist themselves in knots trying to make it seem way bigger than it is lol

Idc if Olivia starts outstreaming Scarlet in 5 years, PTTR alone is bigger than the entire Guts era and will be remembered unlike anything from Sour 2.0 lol

Guts is such a boring album and huge downgrade from Sour

Not y’all running to celebrate a 200k difference knowing Scarlet’s numbers are that big thanks to a song. What will happen when Paint the Town Red loses steam and GUTS overall consumption remains stable?

Just let them have this specific moment for the day. It’s in the thread title anyways, while Olivia will remain outstreaming outselling corny i hate my fans doja

That is sad. GUTS deserves so much more. BIR and GHB! should be both in the top 10 of pop radio and BB right now

I definitely think GUTS' performance so far is a bit of a letdown but also her core audience probably just ditched the album temporarily to stream 1989TV. Her streams always kinda tank whenever Taylor releases and vice versa

Both were huge disappointments success-wise so it's a bit comical seeing stans from both sides argue about which album is essentially less of an underperformance

SOUR's success really went to a lot of people's heads and they can't cope with the current reality. They called her "the new Taylor Swift" yet she's been COMPLETELY overshadowed by Taylor herself this year. Even Cruel Summer, an old song available since 2019, ended up being a way bigger hit than Vampire :rip:

this feels like a set up thread but damn Olivia's sophomore slump is even worse than Billie's alleged one. Who would've seen that coming! @wish

Yes, bc Billie didn't have the radio that Olivia had with her singles.
