You don’t need to be a psychologist to see that she has unresolved daddy issues. Being let down by her father in life left a mark on her and surrounding herself with old men is her looking for what she didn’t get from her father—approval from authority. She thought that giving him an album or opening a restaurant or dating a lookalike would fix things but that’s not how you address the issue.

OT: How “Pop music will never be low brow” of her.

Sounds like you may be projecting since you seem to be an expert here. Her relationship with Tony falls in line with this logic, but not her performing once or twice with some men. :ahh:

The fact that she went to see them one day and then hopped on stage the next. See when you are a legend, they let you do anything you want.

What is her obsession with aligning herself with men 70+ years in age? It's telling none of her peers or younger artists want anything to do with her.

why do you think she rarely collabs with people and when she does its with legends? it's an ego thing.

ATRL not knowing who music legends are should be of ZERO surprise to ANYONE, still incredibly embarrassing though.

Singing with Tony, Elton, Metallica, Rolling Stones, U2…Gaga really is a legend :jonny:

Armchair psychology is advice on mental health conditions or psychological disorders that typically comes from the logic and introspection of an untrained layperson. Unlike professional psychologists and therapists, armchair psychologists are not certified, licensed, or trained to issue mental health advice.

Unless you can miraculously find a way to furnish your APA-accredited degree or professional license, we have no choice but to dismiss this unwarranted diagnosis I fear.

Take in that you said all that because she's singing with U2 :deadbanana2:

Okay cool, but how about a pop collab, Gags :deadbanana2:  I am literally begging her to debut a modern, "faceless, quick lil single." Anything fun, upbeat, or danceable. None of her post-Chromatica releases are anywhere in my playlists or music library.
