Seriously, who can potentially reach the height of the fame of MJ, Madonna and Britney anymore?

 

Their impact, legacy and controversial is just something... fascinating, I might said.

The world is just obsessed with them.

To be honest popular artists these days are not even that famous anymore. Most of them get their success because of one demographic streaming their music but many many people around the world probably never heard of them. I feel like it's become impossible to reach MJ's, Britney's and Madonna's level of fame now. I do think Lady Gaga had a high peak in fame when she debuted but not as high as the three of them.

There's many stars who are as or more famous than Britney, she's kind of a sneak here. I think Taylor today is as famous as Madonna was in her peak, but no I don't think anybody will ever be as famous as Michael was, nobody has ever come close.

Beyoncé, Taylor, and Gaga come close. In my opinion, "fame" has evolved, and it's not so much that Madonna, Britney, and MJ had some enigmatic thing no other artist can tap into; it's that when they were in their peaks, the world worked in a very different way and reacted to stars differently.

Get off the internet lying. Britney certainly never did, since her fame level never lasted for decades like the other two, but Madonna's fame rivaled Michael's in the '80s and you know it. Sales of Thriller aside, they were both EVERYWHERE.
