Really? To me it’s the fallest album that ever fell!

Her albums in seasons for me is:

Taylor Swift - Spring

Fearless - Fall
Speak Now - Fall
Red - Fall
1989 - Late spring - early summer
reputation - early winter & late summer
Lover - early spring
folklore - summer
evermore - winter
Midnights - winter

Utopia was released in November but always gave me spring vibes

came for Vespertine, that album is undeniably winter :rip: I think Windswept Adan was a great winter album, however :michael:

Anything less than NGG status for RV makes them criminally underrated I fear. :giraffe:

Edit: wrong thread FKFKKD. SM was sick and twisted for this.

Honeymoon, maybe Lana's most summery album came out in late September

honeymoon should’ve been released mid june

tunnel should’ve been released during winter and bb & cocc should’ve been released in fall

I don't have a strong feeling for the other three but Honeymoon, the entire album, just sounds like a scorching hot summer day

folklore during summer…

It wasn’t really summer when it was released though.

Lust For Life gives either autumn or spring but was released in the summer.
Honeymoon was released at the end of September but feels like a July album.
Loud and Artpop feel like summer albums but were released in November

Folklore, I don’t care what anyone says

that is not a summer album

For me folklore is a summer album but a very specific vibe of Summer. Late night summer vibes when it's dark but still hot, particularly rather fitting in the month of August when summer is coming to an end and you're trying to enjoy every last minute of it.

I live in a place where it is sunny and hot pretty much all the time, so I never connected releases with seasons.

When I lived in Europe, I did consume albums, but I remember feeling very strange with Xtina releasing "You Lost Me" around summer, I couldn't listen to it.

I'll just stream them in whichever days feel appropriate :johnald:

Yeah but it was covid. Was it really summer for anyone? It was an perfect album released at a perfect time i believe. Chromatica was a full dance album but during covid it had no place to be released. Especially with lyrics like “my biggest enemy is me” when people were suicidal.
