It’s the men too, don’t get it twisted. Look at Drake lol. The hip hop world is 20% about the art, 40% about chart success, and 40% about “clout” or whatever. There’s not a real culture for actual artistry or artist development in the current hip hop/trap mainstream. It’s all about catching fire and riding on it. I think she has made it very clear from day 1 she was never interested in hip-hop or music as an art but she just wanted to make some quick coins - to be honest, nothing to judge.

 

When you stop making hits and you are not one of the cash cows of your label, there is nothing much more really to inspire you.
 

and it’s not like she ever liked her fans at the first place, so no reason for her to try to drop good music for them (isn’t that like the 12th time she wishes death upon her fans? At least she didn’t call people’s kids monkeys or said their kids should be bullied or something this time)
