The Woman in Me Megathread | Out now | Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt bid for adaptation

Message added by Ryan,

Do NOT make negative comments about Britney using her then-constitutional right to have an abortion. She and Justin mutually agreed to the decision.

as in she’s about to tie Michelle Obama?? :gaycatx:

Wait, based on my understanding, the printing of additional copies is ongoing. Hence, it will not count towards its first week sales.

I'm so happy for our girl. It is one thing to have successful music. But this is on a whole different level. People bought the book because they want to know what happened to her. They want to know her story. The story behind the human being Britney Spears.

So they made over 40,000,000 dollars?

If each book is atleast 20$ when sold

The rumours about what got cut are intriguing, namely that Christina once apparently had a toilet accident back stage at the Mickey Mouse Club and the first time Justin and Britney became intimate, Britney is supposed to have said “You can put it in now” and Justin responded with “it already is”.

Imagine she had an album with the book.

I’m glad both were removed. Both are way too petty next to very serious material and would make critics take the book less seriously.

Besides, there’s still rumors of a second volume.

I disagree. Can still hit that longer term.

Interviewers would hold her words against her and the fact that it was largely ghost written. EDIT: Written by the co-writer, allegedly…

This was the perfect release strategy.

I disagree, while the book is ghost written just like millions others doesn't stop anything from it you think Harry wrote his book himself? The interview would've been scripted and would've taken this book to a new level.

The interviews would’ve been criticized for being scripted regardless. She would be criticized no matter what. Her agents decided to let the words on the page that she approved to be put in (regardless of a co-author, or a ghost writer) speak for themselves. I agree with that decision.

Only the Obamas and Prince Harry have higher selling first weeks for their memoirs.. and they are in a league all their own, like its not even close.

I mean just by comparison, normal memoirs rarely even break 100,000 first week.

This isnt a complete ranked list, but just shows how Britney's compares

Do the sales from the Obamas and Harry include digital copies/audio books or are these the numbers of physical copies only? I know Britneys 1.1 is only physical so maybe she can surpass them?
