The Woman in Me Megathread | Out now | Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt bid for adaptation

Message added by Ryan,

Do NOT make negative comments about Britney using her then-constitutional right to have an abortion. She and Justin mutually agreed to the decision.

Thank you to Britney’s second fan base for keeping us updated on her book sales!

OT: 400k in one day is HUGE! I wonder how much the OP’s fave would sell in a day if she released a memoir.

What else are they gonna do babes? There are only so many times they can watch the JustEat commercial in a day.

Great numbers! We can add a NYT best-seller author to the list of accolades achieved by the undisputed princess of pop

Reading about her reaction to the Free Britney movement was so touching. She deserves the world, and I hope everyone who contributed to her suffering will suffer for the rest of their lives.

IMO Lynne comes out looking the worst, and deservingly so, using her breakdown to sell her stupid memoir, making her feel like sh!té her whole life.

Jamie is evil, but dumb. Lynne is manipulative af.

I found a list of best-selling autobiographies since 2001 till at least 2013.

x

(ebooks aren't counted, but they take like 18% of all book types sold)

So if TMZ is right, she is already in the Top 20 (from 2001-2013 at least, lol) and if this source is good enough..

since I've read everywhere that memoirs usually dont continue to sell well some time after release, and some of these (bar Obama) shouldn't have any huge bump

it’s amazing how much michelle williams was able to invoke britney’s spirit and voice

if britney ever wanted to produce a biopic, it would have to be with LuckyChap and starring Michelle Williams as present day brit

400k in one day is extremely good numbers. Her haters stayed perched as always but the truth is Britney Spears will never not be relevant and they HATE to see it.

Can’t wait to eventually get a hold on the book myself.

That’s absolutely massive :clap3:

She would probably sell the same amount of albums first week with a proper comeback and personal music

People are hungry for her new music :clap3:

She's going to take a couple of years to re-discover herself and then comeback with her artistic magnum opus between 2026-2028

It's giving Ray of light meets Velvet Rope vibes

With no promo, just a queen telling her story organically. The final numbers will be insane.

Does she speak about her older brother in this? I always felt how the hell does Jamie get all the heat but the one who truly could have helped her to me is him. I would have looked to my older brother than my. Baby sister 10 years younger than me personally. Plus him being a man, I feel he could have had lot more pull especially over the father and mother being the oldest son.

I think she feels a certain way about him because according to the first chapters of the book he also had it really hard growing up, specifically the pressure to succeed in athletics.

By all accounts Jamie Lynn was spoiled rotten and treated like blue blood compared to ha and Bryan!

She's a living legend :clap3:

The NY Times popcast is so insufferable

it’s hosted by what seem like two boring straight white men and their episode about this book is complete with doubting she wrote it and invalidating her

Am i reading that an attached album would've done similar numbers? oh my :ahh:

Sorry if this was already asked, there's too many pages to go through. When Britney said that she felt more confident by the 3rd year of Piece of Me, was she talking about 2016 then? I saw a bit of spark in her then. A little bit in 2015, but then also 2016 when they finally redid the show a bit. I was only able to skim through my read so I don't remember a lot of the details.

Hearing her thoughts on a lot of the behind the scenes of her life is so refreshing. She didn't owe it to us, but it confirms a lot of things. The #FreeBritney acknowledgement part where she spoke of the connection to her fans made me tear up. I really do love her so much.

I hope she continues to live her life and love things and grow, and find herself all over again.
