The Woman in Me Megathread | Out now | Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt bid for adaptation

Message added by Ryan,

Do NOT make negative comments about Britney using her then-constitutional right to have an abortion. She and Justin mutually agreed to the decision.

So she wasn't happy about the Onyx Hotel Tour? One of my favorite tour from her.

Still reading the book, I'm at chapter 20 right now. I'm enjoying it a lot.

I love her so much.

No one is buying this (the numbers or the book)

It's #1 so the facts would disagree with you

I mean that might be a stretch but I believe it’s selling well.

Listened / read this all in one sitting...

Spoiler

- Her childhood was so rough... I felt so sad when her Mom stopped her from being with her grandma Lexi.

- Justin is truly a dbag. I hope he gets asked about this the way she constantly was back then. The way he treated her is abhorrent.

- It's really sad to see how the breakup with Justin was really the beginning of her mental health struggles. Her family was so dysfunctional, she never learned how to handle something that big and stressful.

- KFed is also a dbag. Her lashings of him had me in stitches.

- Her love of her boys is so beautiful. I really hope they grow up a little and listen to their moms side of things and support her like she deserves to be.

- Her confirming that Blackout is her favorite... ITZ stans lost!

- The way her boys were used to manipulate and control her is so disgusting. KFed basically made her situation so much worse by being so cruel. The first hospital stint was such an overreaction... But again, KFed made everything worse by his actions and making her think she wouldn't see her kids again. Smh.

- The second hospital stay being a total setup... Wow. They must've been lying to authorities (I hope!) For them to have responded the way they did.

- The fact that during the cship she had been sent to rehabs MULTIPLE times for... Energy supplements? How did any rehab take her unless her team was lying? (Probably!)

- Her dragging Robin, lmao. And exposing Loucifer for scheming to grow her business using her name and accomplishments!

- Her dragging will.i.am... lmao "we made one good song" :bibliahh:

- the JL draggings... She really was born with the silver spoon in her mouth and Britney's here to make sure she KNOWS it! :dies:

The most shocking thing for me out of this was how complicit the State of California is in all of this. How they allowed, for years, a clearly capable woman, to be stripped of her rights under a conservatorship, based on false diagnoses and fraudulent "analyses", is shocking and disturbing. How were they not vetting these "doctors"? They did absolutely NOTHING to make sure the conservatee was not being taken advantage of and that there were no conflicts of iinterest. How did all these rehabs allow her to stay with literal drug and alcohol addicts when she was there for being caught with over the counter supplements? How did no red flags or alarm bells go off for anybody? Unless it's because Britney truly was too scared to talk.

I hope Rosengart is putting together a huge case, because this book documents such a HUGE failure of law and justice. Aside from her shitty family, the State of California is hugely corrupt for allowing this to have happened over such a long period of time.

What Wendy said.

The fact that she still tries to have compassion for those who wronged her at the end of the book is so heartbreaking... It shows us who she is as a person. Someone who didn't deserve any of this.

As much as I want this to be true I doubt it sold more than Spare

Prince Harry's explosive memoir, Spare, co-written by famed ghostwriter JR Moehringer, sold more than 3.2 million copies worldwide after just one week of publication. It breaks Guinness Record for the fastest-selling nonfiction book since records began.

Stop with this conspiracy already. Did this uses or Twitter detective even read the book?

Why on EARTH would Lou be behind the book when she’s basically trashed from the moment her name is mentioned and is detailed as the one behind the whole conservatorship along side Jamie? :bibliahh:
