Just finished it. I listened half of it as audiobook at work/train and read the rest of it myself. Kinda regret not listening to the full thing tbh but I'll probably listen the 2nd half later, Michelle Williams was GREAT, give her a Grammy  First audiobook I didn't turn of after 10 minutes nn.

I have too many thoughts so I'll just say random things. 

I screamed about that part when she mentions coming back to Kentwood and Jamie Lynn acting like a brat? It was almost word for word like that Instagram post

The abortion... When the news about it came out I didn't think badly about Justin because they were too young, in height of their careers and probably not ready but HOW the abortion happened... He's a sick man. 

 I felt like the conservatorship times needed like 50 pages more. We got to know how much she hated Onyx Tour like 5 times but Circus and Femme Fatale got 1 sentence each THE scrapped Make Me video, the album photoshoot...  The Britney Jean album. Just a bit more. I was also waiting for her to mention the falling out with her sons. Last thing she mentioned is that they laughed at her Instagram posts but now they apparently hate her for them. 

The rehab and AA meetings for supplements... Her father is a real life horror movie villain  Did anyone catch how he was rarely mentioned in first part of the book cause he was never actually in her adult life?

I stopped following Britney (and JT) as closely as I did during my stan days so I’m not 100% up to date like I used to be on some things… Bryan basically is no different from Jamie Lynn and everyone else who used her for $$$$. That’s unfortunate because they were really close and he even for a short period was in control during the c-ship when Jamie had to step away, she seemed happier but of course we don’t know what was really going on behind the scenes.

I just finished the book and I have to say that this is hands down the best gift we could've asked from Britney. 

 

the Britney keeping her receipts part truly broke my heart. She didn't deserve what was done to her, and I'm glad she didn't hold back when speaking about Lou Taylor, Robin and her family. They deserve the absolute worst.

I just finished it the book. Whew, an AUTHOR  

 

And it’s clear she will be back to music in some form in the distant future. She just won’t be playing the game, as she shalln’t!

I have a theory that Sam wasn't the villain we think he was. This was when she was ditching her family and trying to be on charge of her life and career. Her family didn't like Sam, and we all know her family doesn't care about her, but the money. So... I have my doubts if Sam was really a bad person, or he was just the manager she wanted at the time, one who gave her wings even if that meant being outside the lines her old management created for her, and she felt so oppressed by.

Because Kevin took her sons for like 3 months and didn't let her see them at all. Her sons were 5 months and 17 months at the time. So she was angry and full of grief. It was basically a **** you all

She hated, and it showed, the whole Vegas run at first was a nightmare to the fans, first that horrible album B Jean, the horrible TV special u could see one hundred miles she was being fake, only the rehearsal scenes saved it cause she was good on them, then u had the promo with that stupid thing in the desert, when I saw her opening week with that horrible wigs doing everything half-assed, I didn't roast her, but I truly wished she would retire, if it was to be like that, it was better for her to retire.

 

In the end Vegas had good stuff, from Pretty Girls (this is single is not the good stuff) on she started performing a lot better, and she was getting better and better, when Glory was out she seemed like she had a sparkle of life inside her, also she started adding songs, did the live vocals once... I think this was her best time while on the conservatorship.

Tbh she has been constantly dragged despite having so many disadvantages and/or deliberately not giving it her all

 

If it had been a lot of these stans' fav, every excuse will suddenly be bolded.

But for Britney it's like "stop initializing her" type of excuses or outright ignoring her troubles..
