So the rumors over a postpartum depression were true.

 

I'm on chapter 26 and had to stop a little because it is kinda heavy. I feel like she was never ever happy. From childhood to stardom, she is always talking how she felt invisible to her family and that they only would notice her when it came to make money.

 

Her parents already controlled her loooooong before the conservatorship. This family dynamic is there from when she was little.

 

Now, the stuff about Kevin doesn't surprise me. He thought he was big s*it when he was doing his album. He was using her and it was clear as day.

Just listened to the entire audio book (Michelle Williams is a fantastic narrator, so much so I thought it was Britney herself throughout the speaking).

 

What a riveting, eye-opening,  fascinating, frustrating, and heartbreaking read. She has been thorough so much trauma and heartbreak you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.  Wow,  her family is pure evil and JT is just...ugh  The worst of the conservatorship is even much worse than I imagined. So glad she's still able to find joy and clarity after experiencing multiple nightmares in life over and over again.

The way #FreeBritney touched her more than I could have imagined 😢

I was expecting to know 95% of it but there were quite a few gems that I had no idea about.

 

Legend has been through a lot. 

 

Stronger than Yesterday is a final farewell tour/residency concept I can get behind if she ever returns back to her passion maybe later this decade.
