The Woman in Me Megathread | Out now | Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt bid for adaptation

Message added by Ryan,

Do NOT make negative comments about Britney using her then-constitutional right to have an abortion. She and Justin mutually agreed to the decision.

I hope she does whatever she needs to to feel good, but also can't lie and say I don't hope to hear some more Britney bops in the future.

Her only focus should be learning to enjoy life again.

While not necessarily surprising, it is still a huge loss for listeners. She’s delivered so many timeless classics and was at the forefront of almost every major trend in dance music for over a decade.

I do hope she’ll continue to do one off singles (more Hold Me Closer, less Mind Your Business) though.

:clap3: This is all I want for her. We do not need any more music from her. All she needs is to find peace in the world after all she's endured.

And why would she? After all the horrible things we’ve heard about her life in the industry, I can’t believe she’s even willing to show her face. This woman’s strength and bravery is insane.

She's given us 7 albums of great material, not to mention her one-off single Work ***** :heart2: I absolutely don't blame her.

We already knew that was the case so not surprising, if she ever changes her mind and wants to make music again we will welcome and enjoy it but if she decides to never make music again she has already given us a lifetime's worth of work, some of the most iconic music, performances, and visuals in history and we are grateful for that :heart2: Now it's time to her to have time for herself

The best way for Taylor to deal with this clear bait Israel is trying to do to her is to simply post a link to a charity that helps Palestinian children. Wielding her immense influence while also not acknowledging the bait is probably one the best ways she can go about this. Her fan base is ACTIVATED. The masses will donate and that will send a clear message about what she thinks about this whole mess while not taking Israel's bait for a statement that will be microscopically analyzed and combed through for every little detail to try and crucify her on either side. It would also show that she cares about human lives...children lives while not falling for rhetoric I guess.

Britney wrote in her book that she does not want to come back to music as she is trying to find herself after the 14 years of abuse she went through.

at the moment doesn’t mean never so it’s hopeful she can deliver something finally on her own terms again

Britney not wanting to come to music is not shocking lmao, If she wanted to do music she easily would’ve done it by now it’s even clear her priority is not music and it’s okay! Britney is loved.

I don’t mind her taking a few years off of music to find herself and give us another masterpiece.

the chart geek in me is content with her making history as being the 6th female to have top 10s in four decades.

it’s between her or Janet whether or not Janet will snag a #1 hit or Britney a #1 hit and album to make history as the first artist in history to have #1 singles and albums in 4 decades.

I hope the Janet and Bruno collab is true and I believes ray of light era can come later this decade like 2026/2027/2028 after she spends a few years finding herself.

in the meantime, rca can do the following AND IN THIS ORDER:

1) update her album certs

2) update her single certs

3) or 4) Release a GH with a few more songs or a 2nd cd of unreleased songs

4) or 3) Release unreleased songs compilation and the GH volume 3.

and then if she wants to comeback in a few years great.

if she wants to retire then great, too.

a GH and or an unreleased compilation would be wonder for the next few years for fans and she can just live her best life and not feel any pressure for the business.

i want her to move to Hawaii or some secluded island now that her boys are adults or close to it.

I really don’t want her staying in California. Ugh.

Glad Britney is taking her time to heal and being confident again, I know she loves music and performing and I’m also sure she’s going to comeback to music

And she doesn’t have to for now or ever.

her true stans are not pressing her for new music but that doesn’t mean RCA can’t fulfill her contract without her lifting a finger.

I think she has 2-3 more releases left.

If we never get music then so be it but if she needs to move away for a few years to rediscover herself and then 2026/2027/2028 she returns with her identity on her terms then that would be a treat for us.

if she retires then more power to her.

A final GH with a few unheard songs

A full unreleased compilation

Or a song put on a soundtrack

are things that her label can do while sue is rediscovering herself.

she will likely have opportunities to turn her book into a broadway play, another book, a tv movie, a movie and other ventures that would just require her approval and she doesn’t have to make new music but can continue telling her story through different outlet.

Rosengart said she has plenty of deals on the table IF she chooses. She can live her life not make music for a few years and simply approve of projects telling her story and the world will continue to appreciate her legacy while she goes through her journey.

she can take all the time she needs.

I think we all knew that music is not her priority and it is ok. What I want RCA to do, tho: Update the streaming services with all the bonus tracks (Scary, Girl in the Mirror, Outta This World...).

Same, we fans know music is not coming anytime soon and don’t really want Mind your B kind of nonsensical songs too tbh! Her unreleased stuff is really great, just a compilation would do.
