Maybe he meant 9 million copies were being printed and sent out everywhere? Which would still be huge, that means the publisher definitely thinks her first week sales will be on par w Harry/Barack/Michelle.

The Total Money accumulated. If the book is 20 dollars this means 450k pre ordered copies. (It could include the copies purchased by book stores too,so not already sold).

That's not the profit margin nor is it the real sales for any actual entity involved. I don't see a reason to do anything but reject that theory tbh

 

I think it's a combination of the number including shipments to stores and actual pre-order sales, IF the number was related to sales to begin with

 

that user including "libraries" is futile. Libraries BUY a book so that others can read it. Of course that counts as a sale.

 

either way she says she's not sure so it doesn't matter to me lol. We'll see when the stats are out tbh

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she got 9 million sales confused with the 15 million publishing deal tbrh lol. 9 million sales worldwide is actually insane and would instantly put the book above some literary classics
