There's no "switch". There was a literal missing piece in Britney's story. And NOW it makes 95% more sense. Clearly this was something that had impacted her so deeply at a young age. Then her ex and her family pushed her to her limit whilst she was literally grieving. 

 

The backlash she received since that ******* made that stupid song about her was OVERWHELMING. She was **** shamed by him and eventually the entire society did too.

 

This is about the aftermath and how both took on the breakup. One was deeply grieving whilst the other just took an opportunity to bring her DOWN and make her be viewed in such a horrible way whilst succeeding professionally.

They were planning to marry and have kids one day but both understood the timing was not right. Now in those cases does the man then get a pass to treat the woman like crap after such a heavy binding moment. 

 

It's graceful and inconsiderate when Justin has the talent to use his voice, moves and privilege to succeed without needed to use the controversy BUT  he wanted revenge.

 

And he was not only allowed but he was celebrated for doing so...

They were drifting apart and barely spending any time with each other anymore by the end, Britney would’ve never cheated on him if the relationship wasn’t in the verge of ending  (not the case with Justin as his skeletons dated beforehand).

I just don't think we can say how Britney felt towards the end because we're not Britney lol and from all actual sources we know that she was sad about it and even considered dating him again after he went on a media slander tour against her (ca 2003)
