there is absolutely zero chance that she has sold 144,300 tickets so far. notice how chartmariah on Twitter (where I am assuming you saw this figure) offers no additional info to substantiate their claim. Touring Data, who at least has an idea of what he is talking about, estimates that she has sold 114,724 tickets. nothing to scoff at, but almost an entire 30,000 fewer than what the op states.

This is exactly the point. It's 13 concerts. It's not 60-100 shows. 

 

That's Mariah's touring in a nutshell.. Her tours have always been small in comparison to touring acts.

Mariah's biggest tour was in 2006 which grossed an estimated $42,5 million. It consisted of 40 shows.

 

Mariah's 2nd biggest tour was in 2003 which consisted of 69 shows and grossed an estimated $40 million.

The US during that tour, really let her down.

The way you had to move the goal post now that she's selling out arenas with her 1994 catalogue (who else is doing that with 30 year old Christmas music?). that's quite sad. 

 

She sold out stadiums in her prime and her impact on the industry is well-documented so your petty shade looks quite desperate.

Your own source shows the vast majority of shows were not reported and that the 30 million came from just the international leg. His $40 million figure is correct.

the image that I shared was published by Touring Data three hours prior to my post (I stated as much). if you are so confident that the same source came up with the 144,300 figure (and not some random Mariah fan page on Twitter), surely you'd be willing to share the updated graphic.

the 28 American, Canadian, Dutch, and English shows that we have data for grossed $7,765,840. the idea that the remaining 41 grossed over $32 million is laughable to say the least.

It literally says the completed tour sold 30 million but North American figures were declined to be posted. The NA data we have is for the first leg. So Stevvy was correct in saying the $40 total. It’s actually closer to $45 million.
