exfactor003 Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 there is absolutely zero chance that she has sold 144,300 tickets so far. notice how chartmariah on Twitter (where I am assuming you saw this figure) offers no additional info to substantiate their claim. Touring Data, who at least has an idea of what he is talking about, estimates that she has sold 114,724 tickets. nothing to scoff at, but almost an entire 30,000 fewer than what the op states. here is his most recent count, as of three hours ago. 3

It's literally one of the most recognizable and best Christmas songs of all time, the fact it went number 1 almost 3 decades than it was released shows how legendary it is, and it continues to grow bigger every year. Y'all just really hate anything fun a woman does in here. 1

That's Mariah's touring in a nutshell.. Her tours have always been small in comparison to touring acts. 1 hour ago, tiagol88 said: She never had a tour selling $20M over the past decade? Mariah's 2nd biggest tour was in 2003 which consisted of 69 shows and grossed an estimated $40 million.

In the same article, it says that Carey played (among arenas) stadiums overseas. <3 another false claim debunked then. The US during that tour, really let her down. Only 4 concerts out of the 69 were reported.

She sold out stadiums in her prime and her impact on the industry is well-documented so your petty shade looks quite desperate. 1

Your own source shows the vast majority of shows were not reported and that the 30 million came from just the international leg. His $40 million figure is correct. I didn't even realize she played sold out 40k and 30k venues on the Charmbracelet Tour - which was mostly small venues. Thanks for the new receipts!

It literally says the completed tour sold 30 million but North American figures were declined to be posted. The NA data we have is for the first leg. So Stevvy was correct in saying the $40 total. It’s actually closer to $45 million. Is math not your strong suit?
suburbannature Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 And btw her Xmas shows have always contained greatest hits from her other albums and been advertised as such (also shown in her primetime CBS Xmas special with strong ratings).
