KatyPrismSpirit
So far only Taylor Swift has managed to achieve this feat with folklore, Red (Taylor's Version), Midnights and Speak Now (Taylor's Version). She will most likely also do this with 1989 (Taylor's Version). Do you think any other female artist is able to pull off a big album debut in the future? So around 80M+
suburbannature
Nobody right now Maybe Rihanna's comeback album because of the hype but her singles tend to do better than albums during release weeks. There's just immense hype now. Whitney, Mariah, Madonna, Celine would have done it had streaming existed during True Blue, Like a Prayer, Bodyguard, Music Box, Daydream, Falling Into You, etc.

Klein
Didn't SZA do it with SOS? Rihanna and Ariana are the two most likely to cross that threshold otherwise.
GoodGuyGoneGhetto
Rihanna, clearly. She’s the only MPG left that could pull those numbers, as well as Ariana Grande. That said… A huge Spotify debut isn’t always needed and I don’t know why it’s heralded as such. SZA moved 405M streams in the first week in the U.S overall (2nd to Swift among females) and a lot of those numbers came from AM. Solaria
Rihanna, Ariana, SZA and possibly Olivia in the future when she transitions from pop rock to pure pop Edited October 14, 2023 by Love Again
favorite crime
Rihanna if she drops album all at once. If she released a lead single before it could easily serve a 30. I think Billie, Ariana, Olivia have the chance of they get a big lead single smash. Other than that, Taylor is pretty much untouchable when it comes to streaming

Maybe in the US but Spotify is by far the biggest streaming platform worldwide so it's definitely an important metric

The point is that SZA moved 405M units with SOS in the first week with a heavy portion of that stemming from AM and in just the United States. Even with the “much more globally relevant” Spotify, as you’ve both put it, she’s 2nd to Swift as a whole and no other female has surpassed the number yet so yeah. Holiest Dreams
Really thought Olivia was going to be the one to do it with her sophomore album, regardless of its longevity Rihanna will do it if she ever releases (big if though ), SZA could too if she doesn’t take 5 years to release another album. Billie might do it if she rebounds with her next album, or the one after that. Kinda doubt it though, as much as I’d like to see her debut that high. Can’t think of anyone else who would do it as of right now.
