Every fanbase from every pop girl would have fans acting embarrassing at a movie concert. But keep making threads like that to cope with the movie's success if it helps you sleep better i guess :coffee2:

Why does ATRL think only kids are allowed to be happy and dance and jump along to music, not adults? This is a music forum, are y’all even here to enjoy music?

like 50% of the posts on this forum are more embarrassing than this

this

i know this is really cringe, but god forbid people to have fun:rip:

and atrl always only singles out swifties

i bet they are all miserable in real life

Look I'm all for having fun and not taking yourself too seriously, but at some point, some of the behaviour shown are so performative and try-hardest that it's really embarrassing for age +18.

There is dancing and singing but it doesn't mean you have to yell like a 3 am drunk and roll over the dirty carpet of a suburban cinema.

The people complaining are so miserable and very obviously chronically online. It’s a concert movie. Let these kids have fun if they’re not disrupting anybody.

I saw it last night and it was insane seeing kids know the words to songs that were coming out when they were being born :bibliahh:

Truly a cult, let's pray for Taylor

This could set a bad precedent and make people act disrespectfully in theaters cause Taylor is massive. Yes, some people want to dance, but they should do it in their seats. You're ruining the experience for others who probably had a hard time gettin tickers. Also, if you go to a concert, the point is to listen to the artist. With all those voices screaming, what's the point? This is also a problem for theater workers and stressful for them. Kick them swifties out and ban them from theaters  :gaycat1:

Just remember: every time a Swiftie comes at you, this is the kind of people you're dealing with

Not having them having to sit down and be on their best behavior. :eli: Let them people have their fun. I wouldn't go to anything like this without expecting it to be out of the norm for a movie theater.

This thread is sad but the videos in the op really are funny.

I’m conflicted! Overall, I’m happy to see everyone living their best lives by either having fun in the cinemas or hating on this thread.

Everyone, do you! :clap3:

Please my fellow Black folk on the Renaissance video just know the cops will show up and start blasting. You know we can't move like White people and just do what we want. It drags unnecessary attention and could result in deaths. Please don't attempt to copy this don't want to see anything saddening coming across my feed. This isn't for us.

I mean it's cringe, but let's not act like we won't be seeing similar in some venues for other concert films.

Maybe not quite the same culty, Midsommar vibe, but same loud, annoying singalong.

I think these are extreme examples/outliers. I bought a last minute ticket to the movie on Thursday night and my theatre was pretty chill - just some applauding, lightly singing along, everyone seemed happy to be there and respectful of others. It was perfect and balanced.  You go into a concert film wanting a bit of interactive energy but not over the top. The line should be drawn at shouting/screaming and getting up out of your seat to stand... sit your ass down and be quiet!! A simple rule to follow lol.

This type of behavior would've made me slightly irritated but also laugh in unexpected entertainment value, lol. It seems like children are the ones getting most HYPE at these, which makes sense really. My viewing was pretty much all adults because it didn't start until 9 PM. I suggest going to one of the later ones. Teens don't seem to know how to act nowadays.

Me and my boyfriend went last night and it was similar to this but not as extreme. My heart was actually melting at some of the kids they were so adorable! We were gagged at how well they knew these songs that came out before they were born. It was a great time!
