It’s harmless fun tbh, if I stanned, I wouldn’t mind this vibe in a theatre. It’s not like some storyline film you need to follow along with, it’s the closest some of these viewers may get to a concert experience. 
 

It’s cringe, but it’s not for me. And that’s fine.

Normal movies are mostly quiet with intermittent loud moments. Concerts are nonstop ear crushing sound. No need to stay silent.

Honestly i don't see anything strange for that group of people making the same thing Taylor Is doing. It's a typical mechanism when you are absorbed and you imitate what you see. I think everyone of us has make It with a music performance or a music video.  Weird things are others, let people enjoy things.

I was kind of relieved that in the first vid it was just kids and I was "oh kids just being kids". But then the secondhand embarrassment kicked in when I saw the next ones and they are grown ones jumping around in the cinema
