If Sky Ferreira hadn’t seemingly retired from music would Lorde and Lana have been impeded from their current statuses in pop culture? Would Sky have ended them?

NTMT is more acclaimed than Laced Heroin and Born To Snooze. Masochism would’ve been more acclaimed than Ultraviolence and Melodrama.

An album that influenced the pop landscape, both sonically and topically, for years to come, and the album every snobby music critic in 2012 now regrets having given terrible scores to??? I-

Sky was never big enough to impede either of them to begin with

Bragging over the acclaim of an album that doesn't exist is a new low.

It influenced the pop landscape to be inhospitable, with music execs saying they can’t break new stars.

The way some Lana stans hate Sky on here is weird and really makes me think it has something to do with the amount of Lana fans who hack and phish pop girls and their producers for unreleased music and Sky being the only pop girl to successfully send one of these kinds of pop stan hackers to jail.  Like the vitriol otherwise is irrational and one way!!

I think Sky would've been able to carve out her own lane and even have an impact on pop music if things worked out for her

Even if Sky had consistent releases she probably would've had a Marina career trajectory

So SF2 would’ve been an Electra Heart sized era?

Lorde maybe. Lana absolutely not, they may be peers in the sense that they blew up at the same time, but Lana is a league of her own separate from all of these girls. What she does is different. :clap3:

Even if this is the case, good. :clap3: The woman hasn't released an album in a decade and has been giving her supporters false hope ever since.
