There's gotta be worse the way the loudness war has gone, but that is a pretty loud pop single even in that context.

the mixing on it is awful. it's unlistenable with headphones. max martin really screwed her tbh.

The dubstep beat was fighting with X’s vocals all the way lmao a mess

I love when X goes sultry

A lot of Max hits are like this for me... killer toplines that sound great for the radio but not a lot of depth in the mix on repeat listens. Maybe someone else can help me expand.

it's a bop but the mastering (along with the rest of Locust) was horrendous

We've really managed to piss off one of the few remaining Fighters

Whoever is reporting, just know I'm throwing Your Body a few streams tonight to help Xtina with her mortgage and I kindly request you lay off the report button :gaycat4:

The way there is not a SINGLE millisecond of free, silent space anywhere during the runtime of Your Body :deadbanana4:

From the first second of the song and the random orgasmic moan, through the 'HA! SAY! RIGHT!' all the way past the last synth burst the listener is being assaulted from literally every side and at literally every pitch imaginable with a wall of sound and a hailstorm of 2012-era electronic synth plonks. I think part of the reason it flopped like it did was because it was causing drivers to get nosebleeds when they heard it on the radio, and a few of them ended up crashing during the bridge of the song, which caused it to be quickly yanked from airwaves before it caused any fatalities :gaycat4:

This is hilarious and I say that as someone who loves Xtina. The folks reporting harmless jokes really need to lighten up :ace:

It's the mastering, it's too damn loud! The dynamic range is shot.
