Maroon 5’s Songs About Jane took 11 months to even chart, two years before it entered the top 10. Jewel’s debut initially failed to chart but blew up two years later after a tour with Bob Dylan. Ahhh...f_ck I love Jewel. Where is she what is she doing? Edited September 25, 2023 by JustLikeHoney 1
Enrique523 Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Pink's The Truth About Love immediately comes to mind.

And Willow by Taylor Swift went #1 yet it was still pretty much a flop. Chart peaks don't mean anything. 1

Mystic Boy Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I'm Not Dead is really the only fitting one i think along with The Fame They truly started flopping and ended being a smash. Bday opened with over 500k and 4 with over 300k that's not a flop Rated R never ended being a smash,Rude Boy made the era descent but never a smash. 1
Sad Serenade Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 Lover. Not a flop but started underwhelming.
