If you are skinny, good makeup, skincare , clothing , and lighting  will do enough to make your looks at least  tolerable for the gp. Plastic surgery can also help as needed. 

 

You still need to make good music but looks aren’t fixed as you think in  the entertainment industry.

People first need to define "conventionally attractive"...maybe there's no definition since it all seems to be highly subjective. Anyway, charisma, talent and connections are way more important than looks imo.
