Transitioning from being a racist to a cultural appropriator :rip:

A jlo like career path I guess

The GP is only responding to her when she serves English latin-flavoured music like Havana, Senorita and Bam Bam, so good luck!

This girl has zero creativity

Good luck with that

i don’t see it as her voice ruined a lot of 5H’s urban / r&b songs as it didn’t fit. like… at all. (not to take away from the fact that she did add great additions to some songs, usually in small doses).

if we’re talking omg style songs then yes i guess it could work! i wish her a grain of luck x

I can see the backlash, social media lashings, bombings, and pannings ahead. A gift that keeps on giving.

Honestly the R&B/Hip Hop influences fit her voice. Not many of her peers could've pulled off OMG and not have it sound terrible. If she infuses it with her Latin roots a La Havana, It'll be good

No. Leave the R&B/HipHop tbh entire Urban branding for the black urban girls that already struggle to be seen in the industry. We don't need her appropriating Black culture..

did i say urban branding? I don't want her to look or act like a Black Girl, nor do i want her in Black Spaces. I am, however, fine with her being influenced by Black Artists & acknowledging them. Please don't make more out of what i said. Gracias

she’s working with el guincho, who is one of rosalia’s main collaborators, so it will probably be a lot more latin and experimental reggaeton than hip hop lol

Reggaeton is the latin version of Hip Hop.

No I meant what I said and my response was correct. If she wants to do a pop album fine, a straightforward Latin album? Go for it. But no fake hiphop/r&b inspired BS.

Even OMG was grating and the best part was the feature.

I mean Havana was “urban” inspired and it smashed so :sistrens:
