A Bomb Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 lol we have a runway this week. Rainbow fabrics are tacky in any shape or form. The s4 sabotage is real
DripDrip Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 The theme isn't complicated I just don't like rainbow aesthetic djdkkd
PinkBox Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Just send in a graffiti dress and circle the little spots of color

And the teams where I was picked first out of everyone so you didn't even get a choice in the matter? Save face a bit I guess. I was just asking if you were gonna serve another Weezing look then you came in with DAGGERS at me. Explain that, Phresh.

DevonRoars Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 Honestly that runway theme is pretty great especially since it's open to interpretation.. I really hope people think outside of the box with it.
talent Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 team melanoma has this win in the bag, trust and believe!
Losing my ground Posted June 18, 2017 Posted June 18, 2017 HOST: Evita Kirchner GUEST: Ledex Welcome to the first edition of ATRL’s Drag Race: Talent Ruview! WEEK 1 Evita: Oh y'all wanted a twist, heh? C'mon Talent Ruview S1, let's get TALENTED! We’re going to be TOOTing and BOOTing the challenge entries of ATRL's Drag Race each week! Ledex: And as a Sasha stan myself, I've been invited this week to enjoy the TALENT our S4 queens brought Evita: Deflowering the main stage, first up is... Stone Let's start with the infamous "I know how gay yall are so I decided to fem everything up a bit LOL!" quote. The auto femme-shaming! You don't have to ask for permission or being sorry for being yourself. Then we have "My talent is my overall persona", so you basically have the same talent than Pearl, ok werk. PinkBox/DripDrip's reads were weak. Aciid's lashing was the highlight part of the entry - but it's not like reading Aciid is that hard. I applaud you for having the nerve to do a video of this kind. The filming quality served "Paranormal activity" realness - the content: same. BOOT. The camera angle alone should get you a boot but the fact that not a single recognizable talent was showcased is just simply too much. Girl, it's a talent show and your talent is "your persona"? A true ki. BOOT. Noah Fence Is James Morrison doing drag now? I can tell you definitely won that ATRL’s X Factor title, and what is a shame is that you're wasting your time with this messy people when you could win the actual X Factor. This is REAL talent and I'm definitely bopping to this beautiful song for the rest of the week. The origami work is also incredible, tangible talent and I have to give you props for that. This isn't Fashion Photo Review, but it would be incredible to see some of your work to be included as part of your runways. TOOT. Noah Fence, aka the Sam Smith of synth music! Werk girl! Not only did you showcase your beautiful voice and song production capabilities, you even brought your truly innovative and fresh origami talents to the table. The one from paper towels really spoke to me. Props to ya mawma. TOOT. Gladys Lux Maure You have a very chill and shy attitude and though I'm feeling empathetic with your persona, you're not giving me DRAG QUEEN vibes. I want to make clear you don't have to be a loudly Bob the Drag Queen mess, but you have to find that FIERCENESS you have in yourself, gurl. Now into your story, in the first words I thought you were describing this thread (I was surrounded by what I estimated to be a good hundred-thousand beasts. A sea of monsters, screaming and hollering. The stench, the heat, the noise were all unbearable, but I was unable to pass out because I was constantly getting hit by flailing fists and elbows. How I wish I could've had lost consciousness, it would provided me sweet relief from the misery that I was in). Then you really captivated me with the imminent danger sensation you were going for. The twist at the end was completely unexpected for me and I found myself cackling. I don't know if this was the longest set up for a joke, or if your messy exaggerated ass really thought a baseball match was this unpleasant, but I enjoyed this reading. Next time, you should edit out some things, add some spaces and even images because I can already picture some bitches reading you for your extention. TOOT. I was a bit conflicted on this. I like the idea of writing prose as a talent because I am a talented writer myself. I found Gladys' writing to be a bit cliche at times ("the minutes felt like eons" etc.) but overall I think you have a good handle on your craft and I wouldn't be surprised to see you excel in the written challenges. The twist at the end was a good one and I was entertained. More tootable than bootable. TOOT. Whøre Yentl I can see your talent is to be a Wh0reyentl, but I like you translated that into a raw, politically incorrect and irreverent song that only a drag queen could pull out. I was cackling the whole time; the way some words/syllables actually matched with the real song was a kii. Keep doing this job, comedy queen. TOOT. Wow, you really took me there. I wanted a **** nasty bitch contestant and Miss Wh0re has provided that in spades! You were able to capture the rhythm of the song fairly well so the parody was already a success. But the content elevated it to an entire new level. I'd give this song my bug for sure. TOOT. Priscilla Prolapse Despite being a Ball winner myself, y'all know damn well I can't really judge fashion. That's why I was like "ok, werk" at the first 3 looks. The only thought I had is why the first look only has one leg? Serving Jasmine Masters S7 promo pic realness. But in the last three looks I screamed a bit with the categories. Serving Fashion and COMEDY in the same entry is really a talent, so I have to TOOT you. Priscilla girl, this competition is already about designing looks so I think you should have dug beneath the couch cushions to find a talent beyond that to bring to this talent show. This isn't FPR so I don't want to get into the looks themselves too much but the only one that I would wear is the Sugar Daddy Funeral. Also sis why she got the same wig for every look. We're gonna need you to bring it harder. BOOT. Colleen ADR is lowkey a Hunger Game, so don't be ashamed at that! I'd boot you just for the fact you call yourself Azalea on that forum, but I have to say the writtings are not only well-thought but also *Kennedy's voice* BEAUUUTIFUL. I'm not particularly a fan of the genre (Tumblr is), so I gasped at the video because you can serve comedy as well (was that your idea? you're not the one in the video, right?). Also *dead* at that abilities list (and some of your competitors couldn't find a good talent to showcase!), I can't wait to see you pretending to be a shark in a swimming pool. TOOT. Look, I'm not even going to pretend I read those entire creative writing essays but I see Alicia Vikander everywhere so obviously I stan. I also have no idea what your connection is to this video but I'm hollering. Colleen served raw, emotional vulnerability in your writing (or at least I think so, again I didn't read it) and smart, zany comedy in the other "notable talents". And hey, if sucking good dick isn't a notable talent then many of you wouldn't have a roof over your head. TOOT. Phresh Cherry It's a shame you couldn't give us "situational comedy, plotting and schemes, looks and uniqueness" this week to us, because that story's plot isn't THAT bad for something you made in, what?, 10 minutes? So stop relying on your potential and please SERVE IT UP next time. BOOT. I see what you were going for but ultimately I don't think you took it far enough. I think you do have talent but this is ATRL Drag Race, you need to elevate and push yourself to the limit. I wasn't gagging on your cherry pit. BOOT. Alena Loves The first look is giving me Evita Kirchner's Virginal Look for the Tarot Ball Realness and I live for it, it's truly original to your style. For the second look I think the boots are a choice, it doesn't really go with the rest of the concept, and the hair isn't giving me "sexy and seductive" neither. I can't at the flats of the third outfit, but that's really the only thing that gives me major LGBTQ+Pride concept; the accessories are all over the place and despite being bad, I can't at them being the hightlight of the overall look. It's also a choice you decided to include the make-up packaging you were going to use instead of the make-up actually applied. The dress for the 4th outfit reminds of my nephew's towel. The look is very pedestrian despite having SO MUCH accesories. My fellow partners Aciid&Carbön will review your fashion a little bit better, but for me this talent and execution is a BOOT. You essentially have the same talent as Priscilla although I do think your entry is stronger. I mean look, you basically have the same talent as Valentina so I'm sure you have 500K hidden fans out there just waiting to send putrid comments to your competitors. Chin up sis, I don't think this was your challenge. BOOT. Faye Shull You clearly wasn't benefited of not knowing this was an actual challenge because you gave us nothing more than a summary. The confessional was cute, the trophies part was confusing - considering you wasn't even nominated for a Despy or didn't even get Miss Congeniality last year (). I know you CAN do what you're promising us to do, but you simply didn't serve that for this bit. BOOT. I'm not sure from your entry if I could pinpoint exactly what your talent is supposed to be but overall, I was entertained by it. You have an innate charm about you that helps you sell what could turn out to be a mediocre product. The picture of the medals and trophies slayed me though, you better stan yourself. Probably my weakest toot but - TOOT. Lola Cabezas I have to say, I expected a lot more of DripDrip but at the same time I think you meet the requirements and at least you amused me. You had the NERVE to pull a roast for the first challenge and that's something noteworthy. The throwing up joke about Chanel was actually my favorite - but can I say it's very influenced by Evita Kirchner's "Kum-Eddy" joke last year, which also involved you ([MoonChild] must puked sometimes, that’s why she didn’t gain a gram after eating Drip’s lipidic buttocks). I guess great comedians think alike. TOOT Lola, Lola, Lola. I'm just gonna pretend your stale, sad, sorry attempt to read me didn't exist and judge the rest of your entry on it's own merits. But really bitch, if you're gonna come for the Queen then COME. Anyway, the Chanel read was cute I guess, I felt you could have done better. TOO's read was spot on, never have I seen such a disconnect between a poster's content and praise. PinkBox, Subomie, and Citrus reads were all pretty lame although "Citrus looks like Shane Dawson" is probably the highlight of your entire roast. Overall Lola your talent was unique and it's always a good idea to incorporate characters that the audience knows and loves (or hates). TOOT. Primarina It's a big mistake telling in your first sentence you planned to do something great "but let me go with this plan B because this competition isn't worth the time". Moving on, your Kim Chi impression and references were sometimes a kii but this is serving unintentional Wh*re Yentl randomness which is amusing but awkward at the same time. I have to BOOT this because despite the talent and the effort is there, you missed the mark. As the premier Primarina stan of the thread, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with this entry. Your Kim Chi impression itself was pretty accurate, especially with the random Naomi swipes. But I have to say I found your answers to be a bit...lazy? There was definitely a disconnect. The "Who? I've never heard of her" actively made me cringe. I know you can show much more than this but sorry sis, I have to say...BOOT. Melanoma The image is hilarious (I can't at the wigline and the orange earring) and the design is pretty clean, beautiful and useful. TOOT. Yeah, you know. This is definitely a good graphic and I know Melanoma is very good in Photoshop. And as the good sis Mystique found out, we are very much in Chanel's Drag Race. Not much else to really say here besides I look forward to seeing what else you have to offer. TOOT. Canela It's pretty lazy from you to just copy&paste two links (you could have quoted the messages you wanted to show us at least). But anyway, you really served real talent (in both writing and formatting skills) so it's a shame that didn't translate into new content. I guess you could sail through this competition in an Eve Saint Laurence-style, but for this Talent Review is a BOOT. Lazy. Lazy. Lazy. I'm surprised this "entry" was even accepted by Chanel. How you didn't end up in the bottom two for this I will never understand. You sent two links and felt that would be sufficient? IDGI. BOOT. Camille Toe The overall idea is cute (Tatianna kinda won a challenge for this) and the rhymes are OK, but this is unoriginal, predictable and even lazy. The fact you had to clarify "his dick" is hilarious, but in a Laganja Estranja-stand up style. BOOT. Sis, what the **** is this? Did you copy/paste this from somewhere? Why did you add "his dick" to the end? Why do only some of the lines rhyme? There are not words to express my disappointment and longing for these minutes of my life back. BOOT. Mystique I appreciate that you wanted to showcase a real, tangible talent. But it looks like the work you sent isn't even finished. I like you chose Jessica Rabbit so this is somehow related to drag, but the lack of colour doesn't give me drag, and those weird boobs doesn't give me drag. The shadowings are confusing and the superior limbs are a "No". I hope I don't get a rioting outside my house (with just you holding a sign saying "Injustice!"), but I'll give you a BOOT. Oh, Mystique. You truly are the robbed queen who wasn't robbed. Do I think you are a good artist? No. But I do commend you for submitting an actual talent and putting forth effort. However, as a queen you were the definition of filler and unoriginal with your style. You may have been robbed this week, but it was only a matter of time. Still, kudos to you for entering. Sorry Chanel doesn't like you. BOOT. Tippi Monét Would you critic a talentless queen if she didn't have any talent?. BOOT.
