Hit Different not being included when it basically was the introduction of the new era - and also kickstarted her trend of teasing the next single with a music video outro - reallyyy pissed me off

 

not to mention the song + video are both her best ever imo. I get that they didn't think it was essential to include because it didn't pull amazing numbers but still..

On the one hand it’s like, ‘What would Beyonce do?,’ but I am also deeply inspired by people who do whatever the **** they want, like Frank Ocean and Andre 3000. Some of my favorite songs were the ones that I dropped on SoundCloud [early in her career], because it was so stress free.”

This project turning into its own album is much more exciting, she could wait for Snooze to slow down a bit to drop it.

It's nice that she's feeling positive about dropping music again, she seemed so over it last year when she released SOS.

It makes sense this wouldn’t be a full

album. Sonically and thematically they are from the same sessions as SOS. And to promot me this as a new album with everything her albums deserve plus a tour, considering her popularity and artistic success, im sure she wants a break before doing all of that again.

same happened with folklore and evermore. i think she wants a project out in dec to secure chances of AOTY

she was working on SOS till like last day. the title track and Ghost In The Machine were some of the last songs made I think, in fact the title track was initially called 'Grief' in Oct/Nov before the album
