Olivia directly addresses Taylor-situation on new GUTS song?

Her Bad Blood :clap3:

I'm #TeamOlivia, Taylor stealing her first coins and making Paramore steal even more coins was super petty tbh. She probably felt super threatened by the new Gen Z queen and wanted to destroy her before she became more powerful, that's how Taylor works (see Bad Blood and her million songs shading other people).

Will Olivia's work always be linked to Taylor? Dear lord the girl just released her album and y'all already making everything about Taylor... after her first one was already heavily linked to her. Get a grip!

The lyrics are so vague it could be about anything at this point.

Taylor launched a feud over back up dancers but Olivia feeling betrayed by someone she actually looked up to is what is extreme and "obsessive" :skull:

Exactly! Plus she has based her entire career about writing about other known people :rip:

Siding with everyone that has a problem with Taylor won't revive Katy's career.

OT: as I said earlier, the song is vague but it has an underlying meaning

Atleast it’s about a situation that warrants a song unlike the one Taylor wrote about Katy which was a grudge pertaining to back up dancers

I mean I definitely think it’s about Taylor, especially “that weekend in May” considering May 2021 is right when the whole credits fiasco and ensuing fallout happened

taylor never mentioned katy after 1989 and katy mentioned her many times before sending taylor an olive branch so whos the obsessive one?

OT: imagine releasing a new album and everything people talk about is another girl :rip: poor olivia

Katy has a super successful career & a happy family! Others cannot relate!

OT: Olivia is great for writing about people abusing their power against her :clap3: Glad she's speaking up against the actual Regina Georges of the music industry.

I mean they took a pic together at the BRIT Awards and Olivia promoted Fearless in April, then it was suddenly radio silent between them after that. I don’t think it’s a stretch.

Cringe...

OT: all of this mess could've been avoided if either she had confirmed the Bad Blood between them or just denied it. I guess her team advised her to just be vague about the entire situation.

One would hope for better lyrics than that from a writer attempting to come for Taylor Swift. It’s giving amateur. It’s giving 12th place in Golden Hit.

"Trust that you betrayed, confusion that still lingers
You took everything I loved and crushed it in between your fingers
And I doubt you ever think about the damage that you did
But I hold on to every detail like my life depends on it"

As if Taylor doesn’t have tons of cringy lyrics, especially when she was Olivia’s age :toofunny3:

Taylor wrote the masterpiece that is Speak Now when she was Olivia's current age.

I could answer you the same thing and I will ignore your trolling and give you an answer: her songwriting is more subtle and reworked better. The paragraph I pointed sounds directly taken from a diary/Twitter, the sentences are too long/lack substance.
