You're giving the swifties a little too much. They don't drag like that past numbers (good for them on that though, although they can be annoying) for anyone to be truly bothered. Airplane, wefoundtrouble, and those other few stans are having a back and forth because (like me) they're bored (and probably don't care for each other's faves) but it's not that serious. We could go for Gaga's beak if we truly wanted something entertaining. The liddos are always good for a kii

Because she's not a good singer, not a good dancer, not a good performer, not particularly fashionable, not particularly dynamic a personality, and has a image pretty specifically curated and built around whiteness. She's the perfect MPG for the current "anti-woke" era which helps to explain why she's so popular, with which demographics, and why artists like Morgan Wallen were able to ride to the top of the Hot 100 because of her influence on pop music culture.

 

The fact that her stans throw her numbers around against artists that the average person will objectively consider more talented at SINGING or PERFORMING only to be shouted down with ShE wRiTeS hEr oWn MuSiC like it's some kind of gotcha when her music is as juvenile and purposely inoffensive as the rest of her. Unless she needs to drag a "slutty" woman.

I understand being irritated by her stans, but that’s just the nature of a place like ATRL. I’m sure if a messaging board like this had existed in the era of Madonna’s dominance, it’d be filled with irritating fans that do the same thing y’all accuse some of the Swifties of doing.

I don't hate her, but her fans are insufferable. I also don't get the hype around her, since she's pretty mediocre and her songs are very bland? But I wouldn't say I hate her, she has some cute songs like exile, it's just that she is very overrated and her stans are like the BTS army. 

 

edit : Also, I find her so uninteresting, topics about her are boring and there are way too many. She's not interesting to follow like other pop girls (that I don't stan) such as Rihanna.
