Everything has been super expensive here since the inflation. I heard the situation was better in Spain. :gaycat6:

Yeah, our inflaction rate is one of the lowest in Europe, but as you said, everything is super expensive :gaycat6:

This is about to be top 5 highest grossing of the year

Also this would be a great way to test the waters in Africa, if the movie does well in the territories available she can add tour dates

I wish but very few artists tour Africa because their currencies are very weak and also due to lack of proper venues in most of the countries. Realistically, the only African countries some artists visit for a tour stop or to play in a festival are Morocco and South Africa and unfortunately both are literally geographically the most far apart nations in the continent (Morocco is the most norther African country and is right next to Europe and South Africa is the most southern country in AFRICA). The logistics would be a nightmare. I would love for her to visit Morocco because it’s just a little bit away from Spain and it’s the most convenient country to visit in Africa (also probably the prettiest and most unique imo) but I just don’t see Taylor doing that sadly.
I think the last big artist to perform in Morocco was Shakira or JLo. I know Rihanna and Mariah Carey went among others in the past as well but yeah…it’s not a typical tour stop destination yet.

Domestic Thursday evening previews avg. hovering in the $25-30M range at the moment (though trending down). Right now presales do indicate this being much more preview heavy than a typical release. The tracking group suggests a $40M+ Friday debut is still possible.

That would indicate a weekend in the range of $70-85M, IMO (as the true Friday number would only be $15-20M excluding the previews). But, I wouldn't be surprised still, if the true Friday, Saturday and Sunday numbers are stronger than expected and this actually challenges for $100M weekend.

Still relatively early in the tracking run. Things can and will change.

The cinema chain website in The Philippines was crashed for 16 hours, and then they just came back and crash again.

They priced them 13,13€ here which is almost twice the average ticket prices. I think I might be going :hippo:

2 hours and 48 minutes is stated on my App.
Almost like the main duration of a concert.

Checked the first day shows for my nearest cities and 1/4 to 1/3 tickets were sold so far, not many tbh. I think the prices are too high for our country.

Cinemark, a theater chain with about 500 locations, said that ticket sales for “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” are “setting domestic presale records” with demand “10 times higher” than any other film released through the company. The reaction has “blown everyone away,” Cinemark announced in a press release.
