Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour | On-demand on December 13

@Taylena Did I suggest the contrary? No. I pointed out that concerts, much like other theater specials, come with higher pricing compared to an average movie ticket. It appears nonsensical to me to compare the gross revenue of this upcoming film to that of a standard theatrical release. Doesn't mean 100M$ is nothing.

@Headlock Why does stating that "it's not surprising" imply downplaying? Consider this: when you have an immensely successful sold-out tour, backed by a dedicated fan base, where a significant number of fans couldn't even secure tickets, is it logical to expect the film concert to fail? Expressing that we shouldn't be surprised by a high prediction doesn't imply that it's an easy feat; rather, it acknowledges the favorable conditions that make such a prediction reasonable.

@Lemon When did I say it's ordinary? Nowhere.

The lesson here is simple: read what people write without projecting your own interpretation onto it. I'm genuinely pleased that it's performing exceptionally well, but my lack of surprise doesn't equate to a trolling stance.

Italian cinema chain is teasing the movie on their website! They say it's coming soon.

Would they put it in the coming soon section if it was coming after the show which is in 9 months? I don't know, I wonder if it's gonna be released prior to that.

Edit: there's a trailer with italian subtitles too

According to the app it's coming out on 13/10 in Italy, too. Weird, I'll wait for comfirmation before believing it.

EDIT: there's an official italian poster with a date, october 13 confirmed :wanda:

Honestly, releasing the movie before the actual international dates is the best and most effective promo they could do. The tour will be even more hyped than it already is.

Exactly. The movie need to come out everywhere WW on October 13, the tour's success won't be affected at all by it.
