That tweet said she spent ten million on the movie? Like, on what, the cameras?

3-4 M alone to the director.

Anyways trackers are saying pre Sales have reached 50M

So...cameras then

Everyone who appeared in the movie , her dance and singing crew

Cameraman , director all the technicians

They all were paid handsomely by her for this

Although she probably didn't had to pay much as they were already on her payroll and I am pretty sure she has right to all footage but it's Taylor

Taylor loves ro pay her employees so nothing surprising

The director has less than two months to turn the footage into a film so I am sure he's getting extra money for that.

I also think the fact the movie was ready in less than a month means there is a very big team of people working on it to get it ready.

i don't have a source i can post but from what i read for years in the box office experts forums in america theaters gets around 50% of the ticket price...maybe something less but definitely not only 10%

for what i read in china (for american movies) they took around the 70% and producers only make 30%.

Blockbusters often take 70% for the first weeks. 57% is an typical cut for non blockbuster/event movies. So the cut Taylor is taking is great for theaters considering that is an blockbuster release. That's a big reason why so many theaters are adding a ton of showings. In addition, she also isn't taking a cut of any of themed concessions. The puck article describing the deal said she likely could have gotten a larger cut from a studio but the studios weren't willingly to meet her team's demands.

It's not particularly hard to edit a live show though, which is why they can be great even in live broadcast. The issues come if there's a technical issue in the show, or they don't like certain parts that have to edit to cover up or want to add filters and change audio and what not. Probably none are the case

Box Office Theory going NUTS over this and predicting a 100M OW. That would be INSANE.

100m is guaranteed based on the pre-sales alone. It will do well more than that

no no, the last confirmed numbers is 37M (i doubt there are gonna give us other official numbers soon). It's something from trackers in box office forums.

just for people to know according to trackers Day2 had solid sales too (so less frontloaded than how someone could think) with other around 15M sales.

When will they start showing the trailer before movies? They’ve put up posters in the theater now but they’re still not showing the trailer

Probably not

Marketing budget will be very minimal here ig

They are depending on Taylor tweets and posts. She is indie once again :gaylorcat1:

to be fair, i don't think the audience for the film is going to need to watch a movie theater trailer to know about it
