So girls how does this compare to 333 and SFY?

There is no comparisons to be made tbh. All very different, all stand as 3 of her best bodies of work (Nightride remains her most artistic/experimental album imo). Impressive for someone who had the struggles she did in her career.

That being said, she considers SFY her best project to date. And I think it holds a special place in everyone’s heart too since that was her first album in freedom. She’s such a damn talent.

SFY = 333

BB/ANG3L

Nightride

Aquarius

Joyride

thats how I would rate her discography right now. And even that feels like a disservice to this incredible project.

She basically alluded and also insiders have said that there’s more songs attached to this project yeah? I still can’t with the 7 songs - I want more :(

This is giving Aquarius + Raven (Kelela) but with a better production value :jonny5:

How I would rank the songs from this album...

1) Uh Huh
2) Needs
3) None Of My Business
4) Treason
5) Tightrope
6) Talk To Me Nice
7) Gravity

Personally, I would say…

333 = BB/ANG3L > SFY > Reverie > Nightride > ICWD > BW > Aquarius > Amethyst > Joyride

In other words, she just keeps getting better and better since going independent. For the tracks on this album, it’s hard to really rank, but I think Treason and Gravity remain my favorites. I’ve really loved Needs lately, too, which is surprising because it didn’t really hit me when first released.

The one reason that this doesn’t outright beat 333 for me is length. 333 is a phenomenal album, track after track that hits just right, and there’s about twice as much music there that I love as there is here, even if this doesn’t have a single miss.

I dont follow charts ever, but I am so happy its on that chart, and rising. She deserves to be on a whole new level than shes ever been.

Going independent was the best thing she could've ever done. Her artistic perspective is CRAZY. I would personally say

SFY > 333 > BB/ANG3L > Nightride > Nashe > Aquarius > Joyflop.

One week later on Apple Music, she’s #4 on R&B and #62 on All-Genres

SFY, 333 & BB/ANG3L are all phenomenal in their own ways, which is why it's so exciting to stan her.

however, is this REALLY a double release ? I've been watching her interviews and, I could be missing something, but she never refers to BB/ANG3L as a 2 parts project.

she is a treasure of talent, no one is doing it like her

Nightride > Aquarius > SFY > B/A > 333 > Amethyst > Reverie > Black Water > In Case We Die > Joyride

It is not two part project under the same name but she is planning on releasing another mini-album (ep). The original album had 14 tracks but decided to release in two parts but each part will have a different name
