Giving me a mix of the mixtapes, Amethyst and Nightride while still delivering new sounds. I wish it was a full record now it's moody, it's artsy, it's cool. I thought we lost her for a sec 2
popularmoonlight Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I accidentally got SO hooked on Nightride and Joyride this week. Literally can’t stop listening to them. The non stop slayage from Aquarius all the way to 333 is just Got me super hyped for the new album 1
PartyFavor Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) There’s no way y’all are ranking this anywhere near Joyride if the second part is as good as these songs, SFY, 333, and BB/ANG3L will be an incredible run of artistic excellence. Each album is impossible to compare to the others because they all have their own personality and stand on their own. you can compare Aquarius, Nightride, and Joyride in ways you cannot compare her newest projects. Not a lot of artists can say that. Edited September 7, 2023 by PartyFavor 2

It is always like that and most people end up loving the project after sometime ( with joyride being an exception mostly due to PTSD surrounding that project). 1
Nashe Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 She didn't need to release any singles at all, just dropping it would've been so much better. Like Amethyst. 2

PartyFavor Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Honestly would have been a collapse to have heard 0 songs before the album dropped. I love the singles but imagine hearing them for the first time with the rest of the project 2
orange22 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 It’s like Nightride, Joyride, and 333 found a cool subletter for their apartment I don’t know how else to put it

It usually takes me a few months of not hearing the singles so they become a "part of the album"
PartyFavor Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Are you up? Are you down? uh huh uh huh Do you want me right now? uh huh uh huh
playboi Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 This is amazing I don't get the hate Treason is so epic
BlackJesus Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 this was really good. a little too short though
Contessa Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 TTMN, Tightrope, and Gravity are my top 3 NNMB and Treason are close behind Needs is the only low tier for me but it's not bad by any means

ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted September 7, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted September 7, 2023 have you guys never listened to short albums/long eps? the categorisation is completely arbitrary anyway imo Spoiler 10 songs, 14 minutes 15 songs, 15 minutes 7 songs, 21 minutes 7 songs, 21 minutes 8 songs, 23 minutes 7 songs, 24 minutes xxxtinct has a 19 minute album too but i'm not linking him and this ep is 8 songs and 59 minutes
Bussea Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I can’t wait to listen lemme eat this gummy and go through her discography again

I want to hear your opinion/review I like the production on this project from what I've heard so far, seems very UK inspired (TTMN, Tightrope, Gravity). It reminds me of some early 2000's UK pop, R&B and dance. It's still in line with 333 and feels like they belong in the same family with Die A Little Bit. Can give more opinion when I hear the project as it was intended to...track list in order and all. Edited September 7, 2023 by kishi
willmcclure9 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 The mini album is good but its just too short, i wouldn't have minded the 7 tracks if we got a couple long ones
kishi Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Focusing solely on the music itself, it's enjoyable. A nice blend of genres and evolution of what she's already been doing. Album roll out, marketing, promotion, etc. is one thing with valid critiques and opinions, but promo isn't going to stop me from enjoying any artists' work. 4
ultraviolence.xx Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 not gonna lie not gonna lie... some of these songs are hitting in a way she hasn't for me since nightride. basically i need the other half now!!! 1
