Rachel Berry Posted September 28 Posted September 28 The first preview has officially begun, or at the very least audience members are arriving to the theater and taking their seats, buying drinks, etc.

It's been almost 25 years since her Pop Stars audition and she's been fighting for this ever since. 1

I have tickets to see this in november, can't wait Most people are calling this the performance of the decade and one of the greatest performances in musical theatre. They better milk this **** to death. I want a Broadway run, the official album (already happening), a live recording released to both theaters and TV. I'm trying to figure out when I can book a flight to NY to see this again. Btw, it ended up even making this week's box office with just 1 night, it made 300K and was sold out. This will be THE hottest show of the season.

Hector Posted October 26 Posted October 26 (edited) Just finished seeing the show. Nicole was absolutely captivating and sensational. She was a true triple threat and slayed in all departments, singing, acting, dancing, and even emoting with her face. Her performances of With One Look, As If We Never Said Goodbye, The Perfect Year and The Final Scene are 10/10 moments! She absolutely screams frontrunner for the Tony. She shows the full depths of her talent in a role that was just destined for her. I will be very surprised if she's not top 2 competitive to win because this is the best performance I've seen on Broadway in years! Tom Francis was also a very good lead and David Thaxton was good as Max. I was happy the production stayed true to the movie but had enough creative touches to make it truly distinctive and stand on its own. The choreography from the tango to the interpretive dances were impressive as was the lighting design. And the slight meta and tongue in cheek references to the movie and Nicole's career in PCD were cute too. Edited October 26 by Hector 3
