What's really embarrassing is being on a pop music forum in 2023 discussing other people's live on a daily basis. They're not doing anything more embarrassing than what we do.

An extremely poetic reaction which is a very good sign.

i don't see why people get mad online about such a harmless thing, envy is the only explanation.

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a pop girl before, but Swifties are quickly taking Taylor there for me. This whole tour being so overhyped as something special when it’s literally just another tour like any other, and then every time Taylor breathes the Swifties sob about how she’s doing it all “for her fans.” :rip: I almost feel bad for them because this parasocial relationship is clearly mportant to them, but they are so overbearing and… well, a bit dim. :rip:

You can always go choke on a d*ck and not care about any of this.

Swiftmania is real :deadbanana2: there’s no denying anymore

They definitely are the new little Monsters, only when in comparison Gaga at least served a spectacle and dramatics. I will never get how Swift has become so huge. I watched some of her stuff and my God, where are the Standards? I literally dont get it. It's objectively not good

Hey. You know sports fans? Those 20-60 year old, predominately male crowds? Of all races, ages, and nationalities? They scream. They cheer. They jump up and down. They dance around. They celebrate. You know why? Because life is hard. And entertainers exist to put some joy into our lives. Those crowds are no different than these crowds.

So, maybe, just maybe, try to be a little more understanding of that. If these people want to scream and shout and dance to one of their favorite artist’s music, there is, quite literally, nothing wrong with that. It’s why concerts were invented in the first place. To come together and enjoy something as a community. You are clearly not a member of that community, but at least be a decent human being about it.

But seeing grown men/women act like that, no matter if its gay/straight/bi people, is super cringe. There's nothing endearing about people in their late 20s or older behaving like 12 year olds. Cmon now, grow up

Love to see people experiencing joy.  We get so little of it in this world.

? You know life sucks right. Like, objectively, life is hard. We deal with governments that don’t care about us, diseases that ruin lives, war, famine, poverty, crime, financial burdens, etc.

Entertainment, art, and sports are some of the few things that bring joy to people’s lives. They can be the absolute highlight of someone’s existence. It might seem cringe to you but if these people didn’t have games, matches, shows, concerts, etc to look forward to attending with a community of people who share similar interests we would be a bleak and dystopian society devoid of celebration, culture, or festivities.

I think the super cringe one here is you, because why are you recoiling at people being happy about something? Should people remain seated when they’re elated? Should they withhold their applause so you’re more comfortable with their joy?

Seriously, get over yourself. Get off your high horse and quit judging people who are doing nothing that harms anyone.

Imagine being so miserable that you come in a thread to insult fans expressing joy for their fave. Like you could have not even opened the thread, who’s more pathetic in this situation? :swan:

How miserable do you have to be to judge people for simply expressing their joy and excitement? :rip:
