Shakira’s videos have always been simplistic in terms of production YES. she has a lotttttt of campy fun videos pre crossover though, my thing is people on here want to jump the gun when other award recipients their videos is just beauty shots I don’t get it.

"Waka Waka" alone deserves this for impact & bringing world peace for a day or two.

 

in my opinion, the videos for "Whenever Wherever," "Hips Don't Lie," "She Wolf," "Rabiosa," "Loca," "La Tortura," "Can't Remember to Forget You," "Beautiful Liar" and "Chantaje" are all classic. I might be forgetting some but that's 10 videos off the top of my head.

 

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift will get the award when they want it, as well. I assume the latter turned it down this year.
