Wasn't expecting a new photoshoot but girrrrl even the old cover with 10th anniversary slapped on it would've been better. Let me remain positive cause everything was going the right way.

To be fair the entire album photoshoot is terrible but I feel like this lowkey would have been better (it was the Baby I single cover but she's using a screencap from The Way soooo). Orrr the OG album cover for the mess

the cloud pink photoshoot was also blurry which leads me to believe that this is intentional and she is teasing ag7. I've cracked the code y'all

My issue is I see what they're going for but the screenshot / frame they've captured is just a little TOO blurry.

 

Also.. it looks like there's a black 2-pixel line on half the upper-left ? 

 

It's just poor execution because a cover from the video already exists:

 

 

And that there are plenty of other screenshots to use that aren't THAT blurry due to being mid-motion:

This has been planned for awhile. We know she filmed it on her birthday. The Ethan drama has basically been buried at this point.

 

Her artwork has just largely always been bad. I don't think there's a dedicated person at Republic doing her artwork because it used to be whoever she would do the album cycle with or there was one girl who worked for SBProjects that would do a lot of her cover art.

 

Edit - The person I was thinking of was Kristin Hodge, who did the artwork for Yours Truly + My Everything while part of SBProjects (and who apparently is now John Chu's wife??? )
