she just dropped a promo single.. i feel like she should have just promoted the new single with the album drop but since her singles always start slow maybe this will give it time to grow

exactly! it's not even about the #1 debut, it's the fact that he's gonna completely overshadow her and she's gonna lose any new potential listeners. It's sad especially cause she wanted to catch the attention of the hip hop audience with this album and they will all be busy listening to Drake

Well the next single (according to London On Da Track) was supposed to be 9/22 (w/ the album).  So maybe something changed with album date (unannounced)?

This is what i’m thinking, its a good move and makes sense - even if she doesnt get #1 on the 15th either… too many listeners will be lost on the 22nd

I hope so... another promo single 1 week before the album would be too messy, just drop the whole thing on the 15th. If she did change the date then she needs to announce it today

I wonder how she is going incorporate the previous albums vibes into the tour setlist. From the music we’ve heard so far & the vibe that she’s on lately it’s hard to think about songs like Kiss Me More & Say So in the tour setlist. You have songs like Streets & Rules that I think will fit well. She’s the queen of live arrangements & live mixes (after Queen Bey) so I expect that she will surprise us and somehow make everything flow very well.

 

this will be my first time seeing her and it’s her first arena tour so I’m going to need her to pull out all the stops

Actually this might work in her favor ,all those hip hop fans listening to Drake might try out her album since it'll be on the new album list also. It might actually work to her favor .

This is Jay Versace, not London on Da Track. Interesting. 
 

I guess LODT song is indeed coming 9/22 then (or with the album rather).  Thought it would be next.

Track 6 got the writers added on Apple Music which usually happens before a release. It could also be that they added the writers for a random song but that would be unlikely.

Nah, it’s right.  Another promo single is coming next week.  

 

We just all assumed it was LODT-produced…b/c he talked about them having a song coming in Sept.   Clearly we were wrong.

this is true.. but i've seen hip hop fans on twitter saying she could keep up with drake's numbers she's gonna end up being clowned when those first predictions come out. Either way i'm just excited to listen to the album i don't care about the charts that much

PH's tracklist was announced 2 weeks prior to release. She's posting about it sometime this coming week with the annoucement of the new promo single coming.
