MIDnights. Lover is messy as all hell, but still has a considerable number of standout deep cuts. The highs are very high. On the other hand, most of MIDnights is weak melodically and a gigantic step down lyrically. It's a pop album that lacks any actual pop.

Midnights would be her best pop album lyrically though ( mere example of Mastermind ).

But to answer the question, not really sure.

It’s between lover and Midnights for sure.

Lover has some great tracks but waaaaay too long and with lot of fillers.

Midnights is definitely more mature but lacks great melodies that is essential for a pop album (aside Maybe from the lead single). Most Tracks chorus is painfully flat. Such a shame, cause they all had potential.

I chose midnights as the worst

Also, i just realized all her album covers are basically her face on different backgrounds :rip:

Midnights >= 1989 > Lover > Reputation

I'm a sucker for lyrics and personal stories and I think Midnights has 1989 beat in that respect. The lyrics feel very introspective (e.g., YOYOK, Anti-Hero, Dear Reader, You're Losing Me). 1989 is 1989, no need to explain. And I like Lover for some of its highs which resonate with me more than Reputation. I've never really been able to get into Reputation but maybe that'll change when Rep TV is released.

The older the album, the better.

1989 is a classic.

Album covers do tend to prominently feature the artists’ faces, yes.

Lover hands down. Most of its tracks sound very watered down.

Lover

Rep & 1989 Are some of TS Best.

Lover is the first album she fully owned, but it doesn't really seem like an essential Taylor Swift record. The tracklist is too long and it features some of the worst songs in her catalog. Remove eight songs and you have a decent 10-song album.

Lover...but it's still a decent album.

1989

Midnights > Lover > Reputation > 1989

We all know it's Lover

Midnights is fighting against it..but it has more decent tracks than fillers compared to L

1989 is probably her best and most agree

Rep is a problem for some of her fans (and haters), but for the others - it's great :clap3:

it even gave her the most fans out of her pop albums sans 1989
