Doja Cat - "Attention"

This is amazing, but do we think it's first single worthy?

Either way I'm really excited to hear more and I hope this does well, she hasn't had a bad album yet.

this is purrr ep with a twist. I love it, but I'm kinda shocked the label gave her the green light.

I’m still waiting for the catch…no way they’re just blindly sending this to radio + trusting her vision completely lolllll.

It's amazing. The chorus is infectious. Thank you Doja for making a song that is 4:37 long :clap3:

Yup yup she def revisited her old sound but with an upgrade. I actually like this, the production is really interesting. Love the harps

I'm getting buzz single vibes. lol

but I hope the album isn't too far from this direction tbh.

if this is her leaning into “real rap”, LOL

This will bomb outside the Anglosphere

i've only heard the nicki verse that's circulating on twitter but if the whole song sounds like that i think it's a waste of doja's versatility, really not here for an OG hip hop song from her. i was hoping for her to go hard on the production like kendrick style, or maybe even early brockhampton or jpegmafia. but we'll  see.

I'm obsessed but I will try my best to wait to stream it officially

The flow and lyrics feel very hip hop, but the production is more rock vibes. The chorus’s are cute. I’m going to need time with this one though.

found the full thing, i think it's a cool track and i'd definitely appreciate it as part of an album but it's lacking any kind of charisma or energy to make it lead single worthy :michael:

Yeah this isn't doing it for me sorry. It sounds like background music, I agree with others that it doesn't sound like a lead single.

I KNEW I WAS GOING TO LOVE THIS :jonny:

That’s a choice, a very questionable one, it has some interesting parts but overall is kinda boring and simply not that good

It's cute. Production is amazing. I'm sad I won't hear this in my country though. No way radio is touching this. :katie:

I like it. Very early 2000s alt girl vibes.

Because it’s going to change later.  Just b/c it’s on iTunes doesn’t mean it can’t change.  Tinashe changed the cover of Aquarius years after release lol.

It’s a part of the rollout I’m guessing.  Single covers will reveal something…?

Another reason why I feel like multiple songs are coming before the album.

ive never heard of a placeholder artwork for an already released song / album before. very odd strategy

Glad she’s still doing pop, because this is a pop song

A new Doja era is finally here girlies! It's a strong buzz single, album track, xoxo.

I'm sure a radio single will drop leading into the album release.
