Sombre Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 I'll NEVER swim in the ocean. I didn't watch the video but I think you should post a sensitive content warning considering the comments.

Summerboy95 Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 A tragedy and one of my biggest fears when swimming! But let's not forget animals in the wild are just living and surviving... It's important to mention that we, as a society, kill approximately 100 million sharks per year. We are terrified of sharks but there are less than 10 fatal cases annually. Perhaps it's time we start reconsidering who the real villain of the story is considering we kill 200 million animals per day and don't even think about this. I know this might bother or sting most of you. Perhaps you might even consider it's not appropriate or it's too soon... But I think we need to reflect on/meditate/go deeper when tragic events happen, to have a deeper understanding of our world and its balance. 3 1 2

Who’s the “real villain” here?
Butters Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 It’s scary how vulnerable we are floating in the ocean. We don’t belong there

It it did it once it can certainly do it again, why risk it are you serious Y’all are quick to yell “animal rights!1!1!” from your keyboard as if you wouldn’t do the exact same if it happened to you. Think of the father watching this happen/his family, the corpse is very much likely still in the body and it deserved to be retrieved for a proper (closet casket) burial. 6

Elephants and dolphins for example often avenge the death of their young, and they’re highly intelligent creatures much like us. That shark just picked the wrong species to eat. 2
