Yes she literally said that.

"once that new song comes out, we're going to start the rollout into my next project"

I didn’t think she meant meant it. I though we would get at least hype for the single and proper role out.

Yes, she said she has a song coming in July. The pre save states July 6 with no changes to my knowledge. That's when the new era starts.

That is not true. Sometimes she doesn’t use if it leaks .

Pasadena is her worst lead single. I tolerate Pasadena now, Bouncin should have been the lead single. Honestly it deserves both Pasadena budget and the budget it got. I am scared about the lead. Is it going to continue to release polarizing lead singles or crossover easily digestible bangers? Knowing her she most likely will pick the former.

Okay like what? And while I get your concern is valid you're also being extra neurotic over this like as if Tinashe doesn't know what she's doing. Having since gone independent she hasn't let us down so just have faith in our girl please. The simplicity of Bouncin music video is what actually made IT for some people. She's not getting lost in the production and the focus is solely on her. Sometimes less is more and Bouncin proved that. If you actually are a real fan and know Tinashe then you know easily digestible crossover is not her thing and that's totally fine because that's what her true SweetTees know and love her for.

Be patient my God :deadbanana4: the era has already started

It should have stay as an album track like it should have. Bouncin deserves that budget. Pasadena made no sense for a lead single when Bouncin was right there.

While this is your opinion many others disagree and that's also okay. Her getting the sample cleared by one of her idols says alot so how could she not honor that and make it her lead single? That's respect.

I'm in the minority of not liking company outside it's great music video. Something about the song just drags and is just kind of there for me. Prisoner, Money, Heavy, My Territory and or Stop Lights deserved the proper music video and single treatment

I am SHOCK at the Pasadena slander here. :biblio:

Some people don't have the luxury to never leave California. Sucks to be them :ihype:

Pasadena is her worst lead single to date.

Anyways, I’m excited for this new era.

Pasadena was better than die a little bit and company sooooo idk what you’re all talking about. Company is boring besides the music video. She’s evolved so much since then.

A snippet of a mid-tempo song from the new era leaked called "None of My Business". It's being sold :deadbanana4:

Did they change the lead? Or is it the same lead? Pop or house/R&B?

No, it's the same lead. It's a moody laid back rnb bop, could easily find itself on 333. It's another 2-in-1 song too

I will probably properly review it once it's announced, but I'd say it's a healthy continuation of what she built with S4Y and 333

Yeah they really shouldn't sell it as a dance record/new sound for her too much. I initially thought she's gonna go more into this house/HMU for a Good Time esque direction, but it's not that at all. The most fast paced songs are actually 2-step (Shy Guy territory), which is great, but it's just a few of them. In its core this is still a moody rnb Nashe record. If she feels comfortable in this sound and the songs sound good, let it be

On another note though... the lead might be delayed to July 21st :dancehall2:

Ahhhhhhhhhh...... :biblio::biblio::biblio:

May I ask what could have been the cause of the delay? Or it is too internal to discuss, if you're no comfortable to discuss it. I respect it if you wish not to share it

Yeah the Techno production may be leading people to believe that it's more dance oriented so a lot of people may be surprised if they listen to the album with that in mind.

Also another Shy Guy! Yes please! :WAP:

I get it. Cardi b releasing this Friday, Taylor releasing this Friday and a bunch other of big act releasing the following Friday. They are going to get all the playlists and promo spots. She might get lost on shuffle. I don’t think it matters for her it not about peak but longevity.  I though we stop caring about those things @Tinashe?
