PRISM told 286,000 copies in its first week while TD sold 192,000. PRISM spent 17 weeks in the top 10 of the BB200 alone which is impressive for an album artist, so even more impressive for “singles artist Katy Perry”. I can’t find how many weeks TD spent in the top 10 but it’s less than 10, and that’s including a rerelease. The Prismatic tour was massive, Roar and Dark Horse were bigger than any TD single and Unconditionally probably gets more streams now than some TD singles. It has the album sales, and with CG going Diamond both albums have 2 diamond hits - and TD will get more in the long run once ET and TD get certified so it has the single success as well, TD also gets better recurrent streams, the only thing PRISM has on TD is that it had a more successful tour - and purely for the fact that TD made Katy the star she was at the time when PRISM came along.
