Miley's Prisoner remains Dua's biggest debut on Spotify. 

 

Don't see this becoming a Levitating-sized hit or even close to it, feels too similar to the FN sound, but probably won't flop either. I'm sure it will perform better as soon as the movie is released on theaters.

Disappointing start. But with Dua, it's not important where it starts but where it ends. Might be a decent sized hit for her.

I actually find it quite good. Yeah, she got a big support but compared to other soundtracks, this is one of the highest debuts recently. 

However, it doesn't seem like she's built a solid fanbase just yet. I'm curious to see the debut numbers of her next lead single now.

Yeah because TikTok and Instagram are the most used media platform in the world . There’s many viral posts and TikTok’s about Dua Lipa’s met gala looks and everything else she does. So saying “the public doesn’t know her” because of one specific metric makes you an actual idiot.

That's not great being #1 on tth  I knew they should've saved this and the radio deal for closer to movie release date. They'll have nothing left to push it when that comes out

No great at all for the investment it got and being the most hyped movie of the year soundtrack. But u can’t never cut off a Dua Lipa song that easily. Lets give it at least 2 weeks.

With OSTs they like ‘growers’, so they release weeks before movie then they let the movie push it then underpin with more playlisting and radio. It is ridiculous how this OST got #1 with cover for this like instantly and she’ll definitely be back on in July

we really need to wait movie effect to kick in. it might have an iconic usage and grow from there. but as for now it sounds dated only because Dua killed doing this sound for two years. It’s just nostalgia without the future now lol I dont think she has wasted her lead single hype as long as she revamps her image and sound again as she seems to hint at. i also appreciate they werent lazy and just sampled barbie girl over a tiktok electropop beat as every other eurogirl seems to be doin now (although im sure it would be more successful than this rn)
