Miley has no desire to tour again

Not surprised. She was with a patronizing, dull attitude last November when I saw her, *****-facing the entire time and reminding after every single song how she was giving that concert "for herself and no one else" because it was her birthday lmao

This is crazy :deadbanana4:

I don't think she's lazy tho.  She actually puts in major work whenever she does perform, and seems to love doing her high budget "backyard" performances and performing on TV.  I just think she genuinely hates large crowds and touring.

This is the same girl who kept pushing Plastic Hearts because she “wanted to perform it for us live”. I’m really sick of her **** lately, go off into hiding if that’s what you want since you don’t give a **** about anyone supporting you.

The only part I find problematic is her saying she’d rather perform for her friends than fans. Miley, Are your friends gonna stream your music hundreds millions of times :rip:

She is not obligated to tour or anything at all if she doesn't want to.

Imagine Taylor or Beyoncé saying this :rip:

It's sad and hopefully she'll change her mind but there's really nothing fans could do :rip:

wish she would do one last tour! She was about to do a big gig in Australia before covid took over! and she had to cancel. I guess will never experience her live again :weeps:

Didn't she do a tour recently ? the attention tour or something ?

And? Madonna is 10x bigger than her and did only small venues for the Madame X Tour, that's no excuse.

Oh really? I didn't know that. Miley should just do that then. I think she'd enjoy it a lot more if she gave that a shot.

Earlier in the interview, Cyrus noted that she prefers to perform for her friends rather than stadiums full of fans. "Like singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn't really the thing that I love," she said. "There's no connection. There's no safety."

Which concert was this where she was singing for hundreds of thousands of fans?

Or was she counting the entire tour?

I wouldn't be surprised if she changes her mind on touring sooner or later.

I mean, I feel like they genuinely enjoy touring, plus the demand is there so it's a guarantee they'll gross hundreds of millions of dollars. Isn't Taylor doing like 600M off of just the States?

OT: Miley just doesn't like touring, and even if she did, she doesn't have the demand to do HUGE numbers.

If she wants more connection she could do a run of theater shows. It's more intimate and allows for more of the connection she wants.

Are her friends the ones making her chart??

Nah, this ain't it, that was unnecessary.

lol she could've just said she don't feel like touring and let that be it. No one said she HAD to tour big venues with thousands of people. Plenty of connection to be had in a club or theatre. She could do a short residency somewhere.

Also, the vast majority of artists find the whole rigmarole of touring to be a necessary evil. Even Michael Jackson hated touring. It's not the performing on stage for fans but everything else about tour life.

That just reminded me of how, during the Bangerz Tour, she would SPIT WATER at the audience. :skull: She really did not care at all what she was doing at that point.

Well I remember when she was at her peak with Bangerz she still struggled to sell out the arenas... So not that surprising to hear this from her.

Even though the tours are known to be exhausting for the performers and they often get ill on them, it's still very disrespectful to say this to her fans all over the world. I mean it's one thing to say that she doesn't enjoy touring but to say "Like singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn't really the thing that I love" :rip:

Isn't the point of being a musician to perform the music to the live audiences? And isn't it also where the real money in the music industry comes from? Why did she become a singer in the first place then? There are millions of artists who would do anything so they could perform all over the world to the "hundreds of thousands of people"...

And then people are surprised Taylor Swift is smashing so hard when her competition is something like this...

Honestly that left such a bad taste in my mouth, and she's my fave. She could've just said she doesn't like touring, lol.
