1) Disney live actions have never been strong in China. The beauty and the beast made only 89M. That made it only #28 in their yearly box office. 

 

 

2) American movies are struggling in China since the pandemic. So even beauty and the best would make now the half of what it made in 2017 or even worst.

 

 

3) The promotional material of this movie looks like the image under so we can't blame them. If americans are here to watch these unispiring bad movies why chinese should be forced to watch every american movie you watch or you call them racist. Maybe they just don't care. Your imperialist state of mind never fails

Its not like Americans go all out to support Asian entertainment content, so its okay for westerns to ignore eastern content but if Chinese don't support some western blockbuster they are racist
