It must be so disheartening and frustrating for European gays to know they have defeated Christianity (which is now basically dead in Western Europe), only to now having to worry about the ever-increasing presence of Islam in Western Europe. I don’t think Muslims will become the majority of the European population anytime soon, but as Christianity continues to decline, they’ll definitely become the biggest religious group and the main threat to LGBTQ people.

I understand this is an extremely

volatile and personal situation but I do not agree with stereotyping anyone by their religion, the several dozen muslims I have met have been no more homophobic than the christians. I know many young muslim guys who are very openminded.

they are, and we call that out too. American evangelical christianity is a huge threat to us right now - everyone in the thread would acknowledge that.

 

But don't equivocate away the reality that's right in front of us - you're giving right wingers a win when you do that. your first instinct is to say 'okay but what about the christians' rather than condemning the disgusting behaviour we all see here. that's a problem.

The left needs to stand up for LGBT people and that includes against targeting by other minorities. Call anyone on their disgusting behaviour and fight them on it. period. good news is that the school is standing up and doing the right thing

This is due to the well funded (with oil money) collection of Arabic religious channels from the gulf countries in the early 00s, add to that the recent anti gay hate from the qatar wc (something that corrupt fifa has to deal with too), I wonder why these fools don't go to live in mecca but yeah in mecca allah won’t care enough to give them the same privileges of life as in belguim
