How is it possible that they are allowing people from Israel to constantly harrass other contestants and get away without any penalty. They are even stupid enough to put everything on social media. This is just disgusting.

This is the thing I just can't seem to understand. But most likely: money and sponsorship. It's always about money.

I usually like to vote for my underrated faves just to get them a bit higher up in the final chart but I might have to be strategic tonight.

I'm not even going to give the EBU my fine British pound. They can **** themselves.

How can we still be Eurovision fans when things like this happen.

Plausible explanation from AVROTROS imo. They did too much on Joost.

I can't believe the EBU decided to just burn all the goodwill it had in one year like this.

i've seen someone say on popjustice that their friends who were at a rehearsal this week got escorted by police after booing israel / shouting free palestine. i can't remember when it exactly happened and whether or not it was actually confirmed or reported/posted on social media by the actualy people that were involved but these things wouldn't surprise me at this stage. they clearly don't want ANYTHING to cause distractions in the crowd shots of their anti-booing broadcast today.

it's also clear when the broadcasts had a much heavier cheering-track for israel's broadcasted performance this week than in the two jury show-streams.

I don't think this will be the end, unless Israel win, but in order to save the contest dozens of resignations will have to happen ASAP. Otherwise, if Martin stays in charge, there will be no Ireland, the Netherlands and who knows who else next year.

It's so poetic for Sweden to host the last Eurovision.

they've been destroying it now for years anyway with their melfestication and "it's not political" *wink* jokes anyway.

Please, let's not. You are making a lot of assumptions in here. Eden is (at the moment, at least) no more guilty of the crimes her country/ies is/are committing than an average American is of the crimes the US committed all over the world since the end of WWII.

Also, I don't recall any of the UK artists withdrawing between 2003-2009 either.

Y'all need to log out until the end of the show tonight. It'll only do you good.

OT: Please stop posting tweets from that Honest Vocal *** :rip:

show me one thing i said that's an assumption and not a fact lmao i'll wait

"camera woman does not want any contact with AT and Joost" okay so i get that she doesn't want to have contact with Joos because he was directly involved in the incident but her not wanting contact with AT (avrotros??) makes no sense.

That Joost incident is so weird I don't think we know the full story. Would they really disqualify him over his comments at the press conference? Cause I feel like in that case Ireland would be more in danger of disqualification...

They'll all perform, of course. People are too dramatic in here.

There will be some shady comments here and there from the jury votes presenters but I don't see any major disruptions.
