even when lyrics are mostly accurate sometimes they just drop the ball. The other lyrics being there, and it being matches makes no sense.

The iTunes search is fuzzy, meaning one or more words can be wrong, that's why TV shows up when entering "matches".

Yeah this could still be true, iTunes also returns partial matches if you put two different matching parts of a song in.

 

For example 'Down the stairs you were refrigerator light'  still returns ATW
